I actually loved this book and would give it 4.7 stars ⭐️ if there could be such a rating. I enjoyed the character development and found all of the characters relatable. Very scary. Much better than any movies I’ve watched about possession. It did however, end very abruptly; perhaps that was done intentionally to reflect the abrupt departure of the entity...??? It was enough to make me squirm and to reawaken my fear of having my limbs dangle off of the bed. Haha... there were moments where I became concerned that reading something so dark might be inviting evil into my life...did I open myself up to the clutches of The Other???? I suppose we shall see!

Glad to see that a couple of club members finished the book in October and enjoyed it! I started it but got distracted by other books. Need to work on not spreading myself so thin!

I will be getting into this one over the weekend and should finish up next week.

Finally finished it this past week! Worth the wait - it was excellent!

Shandi - I am glad I read most of this book in the middle of the day in a room with big windows! 😄
