How old was Grizz?
I think he was probably in his 30's when Kit was 15, but can't be sure
Holy shit did I read that right, where Grunt is Grizzy's son?? I mean he's gotta be close to Ginny's age. So how old does that make Grizzy?

if he was 21 when he saw her for the first time. He would be 15 years older. He could have had Grunt at 15-16. so that would work
Grunt is 16 at the start of the book. Grizz met Candy (who I believe is Grunt's mom) when he was 14. So if Grunt was conceived between the time Grizz was 14-16 I would think Grizz is roughly 30-32 at the start of the book.
At 15, 30-anything still seems old. And he lived hard, that ages you quickly.
So I think that Grizz is 12 years older than Kit. Grunt is 16 when Kit is 15. That means that in the beginning of the book Grizz is roughly 27 which means that he was about 11-12 when Grunt was born

At the end of the book there's a flashback where Grizz first sees Kit. He's eighteen and she's six, so that would make him 12 years older than her. While reading the book he seems much older but then again not.
