Sarah Katz | 3 comments Alternate history short story "The Sun Cipher" uses ancient Egyptian art analysis and Hebrew linguistics to explore the true identity of the figure the Abrahamic faiths have come to understand as Moses.

Mark | 78 comments No. This idea is feminist drivel. There’s no requirement for Moses to have been a girl for liberation, that is, if it’s equality, equal pay, or sexual liberation you’re fighting for.

There’s nothing in the Bible or Talmud (or the Sifra D’zniuta) that suggests Moses was female. If gematria was used, it needs peer review, and I’m sure some are bound to disagree.

Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity Crusade explored this idea and some of its implications.

It’s not a revolutionary presupposition.
