You see many marriage end up in divorce due to one wanting kids and the other not, so I did feel like it was realistic. They didn't separate on bad terms. They had an open honest relationship that kept them able to continue to work together. From the way Glenn helped her out I would say that he does still love her.
Olivia didn’t have it in her to feel extreme emotions one way or the other, which was the problem. Glenn wanted more and she gave him what she had at the time. Their working relationship seemed realistic but I got the vibe that Glenn still really loved her, especially when he put his career on the line.
There marriage was based on friendship to begin with. I don't think Olivia ever really loved him. I don't think she knew what love was and Glenn was comfortable for her. I think Glenn loved her.
I think Glenn must have loved her, but as a friend. I don't see how her emotional unavailability would have led them to marry in the first place if he was romantically in love with her. It just felt more convenient to me: they both understood each other's work and practicality played into the decision to marry, imho.
