A Long Story Short discussion

Polls are now closed and after tallying votes from both here and facebook, there is a dead tie!! SO, since there is a two way tie and there are only two months left in the year, we decided we would call both titles winners and go ahead and name one our December read since there is equal interest in the books! Our first read in November will be The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow. The pre-read/first impression thread will post November 1st with open discussion November 15th. THEN we will read Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. Pre-read/first impression will post December 1st and open discussion December 15th.

Just a small note here:
We are currently trying to decide if we want to continue this club into the new year. Unfortunately, we just haven't quite gotten the response we were hoping for. We understand people are busy and so are we and that is why we are trying to consider if it is still something we want to continue on with. If you have any input on ways to increase our club size and participation levels, please let us know! Or if you are a seasoned book clubber feel free to drop some ideas on how to structure the club more succefully. All ideas will definitely be considered in our decision making!!
