i totally cried to this book! It's a good book cuz it actually got a feeling out of me!!i agree i hate the ending!! such a cliff hanger!!! now ill hav to wait about another year!!
I didn't mind the "No district twelve" thing. I thought that was kind of cool.....But how could they do that to PEETA!!!!!! :(

I loved Catching Fire! I couldn't believe they'd let the Capitol take Peeta when Katniss is with them all safe! I love it when Katniss starts freaking out and scrapes people with her nail because she didn't have another weapon. I would be sooooo mad if I found out that after all my hard work, the guy I was trying to keep alive whether it killed me or not was in the hands of my now very, very angry enemey.

I feel it's Peeta all the way for me cause he is so expressive. They have done little to develop Gale's character and his feelings he is in the background as an afterthought it seems to me. I could just be ignoring Gale cause he's in the way for my love PEETA...lol!
Katniss will choose peeta but I feel bad for Gale, he kinda is an afterthought. . .

I've looked on her website and there is nothing at all said about the next book :( I have read the Gregor the overlander series its been a long time ago read it with the kids and we all loved it was addictive also. I should reread it while waiting for book three in the Hunger Games!!
It sounds werid just to throw it out there at ya but it's about an 11 yr old boy (same age as Harry Potter...lol) Gregor follows his sister through a grate in the laundry room of their apartment in New York. It takes him to an underland under the city, there is gigantic bugs, bats, rats and a peace that is falling apart there. Gregor all the while is just struggleing to stay alive and find his way home. He then discovers a prophecy that tells him he has a role in the Underlands future and in discovering a mystery to his life. it's a quest fantasy with a lot of action, battles making new friends and new enemies that completely change his life and that of the Underland. It is a hard series to explain but worth reading and it's a complete excape!
Yep in that range there is gore and love story too!

wow, are there ANY Gale fans out there?!! I don't really like Peeta much at all (part of it is his stupid name) and I think that Collins should have given Gale a bigger part in the story. It will be so sad if Katniss chooses Peeta in the end, but I think that will happen anyway :(
Rooting for the underdog is just how some of us work....LOL! There are signs that point to Peeta and signs that tell me she may end up with Gale. I,d like the next book to show a new side of Katniss maybe more of her heart.
