Where the royal family lives.

Deep below the castle, locked away from the world above...lies Aster. The secret weapon of the queen. Each morning is the same for him. Wake up, pull at the chains on his neck and wings roaring like a demonic beast only for a guard to try and shut him up, Freeze the guard, repeat. Aster was not one for cages, no, rather he prefers to be free. But that seems unlikely with what his current record of guards is like.

Aster ratteled his chains. "LET ME OUT YOU MAD WOMAN!!!" he roared. so I can slowly choke you while freezing you. he thought.

This morning would be different for Aster... Queen Opal walked in chuckling with a black dragon with white spikes and wing membrane, and a fiery orange she-dragon behind her. "Phoenix" around the Skywing's talons the snow melted, "This will be your new partner." she smiled, "Since you're the opposite, you'll be able to touch, Aster, this is Coldfire and Phoenix, and-" she was cut off as she glared at a small white dragonet, "That's my daughter, Frostbite"

Aster stared at Frostbite for a moment, but then he leaped at the queen nearly breaking his chains. He looked at her with a rage unseen by dragon kind. "YOU. WILL. NEVER. BREAK ME." he said as he snorted frost breath.

The chains began to slowly crack as Asters rage fuled him like a wild fire. "I. WILL. NEVER. BE. BROKEN." Aster said as the chain around his neck snapped.

Phoenix leaped in front of Queen Opal and pushed him back, her talons burned his chest and the frost scales of him burn her talons.

"I AM ICE INCARNATE!!!" he roared. "THE MORE YOU BURN ME THE COLDER I BECOME!!!" He roared as his cell had another layer of ice added to it's walls. Aster acted like the pain wasn't there because for him it wasn't. His rage was so great not even the flames of Phoenix phased him.

"Queen, three soldiers want to see you" Opal looked at Coldfire, "Who" she hissed, "Mavi, Solar Eclipse and Sandstorm" he answered "That wretched dragon, alright, find him and bring him here, as for the Sandwing and Rain hybrid, let them touch to your wings" (Opal uses all her resources), "Phoenix, bring Aster to the palace" Opal and Coldfire flew off into the courtyard as Phoenix unchained Aster. "Don't think of flying ot fighting, your wings are still bound, and the chains still prevent you from trying" (yet another thing Cold enchanted)

Aster stared at Phoenix. "Control me...and I will kill you, your lover, and everyone you care for....got it? Hot shot?" he said with a hiss as frost breath blew out against his will.

"Try and kill me, I'll kill your brother" she hissed "I'll take you out of this world, just as easily as Coldfire enchanted these chains"

Mavi landed. as he did he saw his wing was completely repaired with only some small lines for scars. But he couldn't think of that now. he gave a stoic look, as if he could be unphased by anything. "Solar....." he sighed. "Be prepared for anything." he said with a serious hiss.

Frost wrote: ""Try and kill me, I'll kill your brother" she hissed "I'll take you out of this world, just as easily as Coldfire enchanted these chains""
Aster laughed. it was a laugh of pain, suffering, and malice pure, unflitered, malice. "Go right ahead." Aster hissed. "It's because I decided to save the idiot that I not only have a busted leg but are in here to begin with. Oh and those chains?" he laughed more. "One more pull and I could free myself...Don't get cocky hot shot." he said with a hiss and a growl.

"Besides...they treat you how they treat me." he hissed with awicked grin. "Like a freak, a weapon..." he growled as he then roared "LIKE A MONSTER AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" as he laughed the dungeon became colder and colder.

(the chains are unbreakable, only the enchanter, a.k.a Coldfire, can break them)

(and Firescales/Icescales don't get colder)

(It was for show remember i do that?) Mavi waited for the queen yet...he sensed something...dark underneath the palace. "What is this malice I sense?" he mumbled.

Aster gave a creepy smile. "Come now little bird...WE have guest to..." he snorted frost breath. "Greet." he said with a growl.

Phoenix growled.

Phoenix walked up with Aster and saw Coldfire standing between Sandstorm and Solar Eclipse, under him was Frostbite.

"Please...don't bother with that. besides...I know the queen will lock me up again if I step out of line but you?" he walks up to Phoenix and she realizes how huge he is. "Your nothing more then a monster that I can eat...don't bother trying to be tough. Before I was locked up I was in your role...and I enjoyed every minute of it...the thrill of the hunt, the smell of there fear....and the best part....hearing there scream slowly fade from this earth...until....silence." he turned around and began to leave. "Come...our guest are waiting....and we don't want to anger her "Highness" now do we?" he said with a hiss.

Mavi looked puzzeled. "Where is the Queen?" he asked not questioning the giant icewing Phoenix was with.

“She should come soon” Phoenix got as close to Mavi as she could without touching him.

Mavi nodded. "Very well." he said as stoic as he could.

"Don't bother getting comfy." Aster hissed. "If she's on her way she'll want your full attention." he hissed

"Who's the big guy?" Mavi whispered.

(For Asters voice think the red skull from earth's mightiest heroes mixed with darkside)

“Some rude icescales” Phoenix whispered

Aster." He hissed. "Formerly know as Aster the dragon slayer." He hissed once more.

"....Mavi...." Mavi hissed back.

"Charmed." Aster growled with a twisted smile.

As they wait for the queen Mavi's eyes dart from one section of the room to another.

"Hey, Burn mark. What's the half breeds deal?" Aster ask.

“Since we’re introducing by titles... Prince Coldfire the Animus of Eternal Power” Coldfire bowed mockingly “Phoenix the Firewing...” Phoenix said “Solar Eclipse of the Summer Solstice” Sol grinned “Princess Frostbite the Secret Heir” Frostbite muttered, barely audible.

"I am Mavi the wise." Mavi says bowing respectfully.

"Forstbite...." Aster seems...almost calm just from her presence.

"...I'll make a exception for you." Aster says without a hiss or growl. "Normally I don't like visitor for my cell....I'll allow you to come near it, Frostbite." he says rather calmly.

(PERVERT ALERT!!! She's two years old 😡😡😡)
Frostbite hid behind Coldfire's leg and mewled, after hearing that she was Opal's daughter, Solar Eclipse calmed down, he just hoped Coldfire was bluffing when he said he'd lost all feeling...

(He's not perving she makes him feel at ease) Mavi leaned down. "Hey there....don't worry I don't think the big guy will hurt you. As for if he'll hurt the rest of us...I don't know." he said in a calm voice.

Frostbite squealed as she saw Mavi and Coldfire stepped forward putting his face is Mavi's "She doesn't like other dragons" he hissed threateningly (Coldfire is probably about the same size as Aster...)

(I tried to make Aster a giant so Cold's pretty big then) Mavi nodded "I see...I remember when I was like that..." he gave a small laugh. "So this is the palace....I sense much anger, hatred, and sorrow in this walls." Mavi said returning to his stoic expression.

Aster raised a eye brow. "Did he eat some sherooms or something?" he says asking anyone in the room

“Mavi the Wise, get it from the name rat” Phoenix growled, her scales glowed, “Calm down Nyx” Coldfire said.

"Sorry ms. Burns the floor. I have no respect for a half breed like him." Aster growled back as his scales admited a cold air.

“Ok Aster” Coldfire growled, “If you have no respect for Mavi, what about me!?” his eyes flashed black, then turned black for a long period of time. “Tell me? Do you respect me...” he hissed, his forked tongue slithered.

Aster gave a smug but twisted grin. "Let. Me. Think." he says with a snake like hiss. "You made my chains, are related to the queen, are a animus slowly going mad from the use of your power, are a half breed." He growled as it slowly grew louder. "No. I never have, and never will not even the day I die." he growled. "Your week, pathetic, and rely on a power that is slowly turning you more insane then me." he smiled in a twisted way. "The only way you'd earn my respect would be destroying those chains and we both know that shall never happens so my answer oh prince of a fake kingdom is a BIG. FAT. NO!!!" he roared as the floor began to freeze under him.

(I had go go to the dentist and then walmart) sandstorm looked at aster. "I'm sandstorm. I was raised by rainwings and im an animus and ive only used my powers, like, twice. I have a pet scavenger named rock who is actually smart enough to READ and WRITE apparently, but i cant understand him. Do you want a mango?" she said and asked very fast, holding out a mango to aster. Sandstorm, being raised by rainwings, had little understanding of why some dragons might hurt her, so she was close enough for aster to try to attack her if he felt like it.

Aster gave Sandstorm a glare that would kill. "No..." he hissed as he returned his gazed to Coldfire. "Face it Half blood prince! The only reason YOU'VE not been thrown out was because of your Animus blood." He hissed. "The moment you loose it Opal will replace you like she did me with firefly over here!" he growled. "She does not care for you, she care for her power to be absolute." he hissed once more. "DON'T YOU GET IT WE ARE ALL REPLACABLE TOY SOLDIERS IN HER KINGDOM OF LIES!!! YOU INCLUDED HALF BLOOD!!!" he roared as the ice on the floor grew.

"Why is the floor growing ice?" Asked sandstorm. She carefully melted it away until it was a just how it was when they came in.

Mavi's eyes widened out of fear. "Sandstorm...Solar....don't move until I say so." Mavi ordered unsure what was about to happen.

“She has had Phoenix and me since birth Ice monster!” He hissed with great anger in his eyes. “Great debate Aster” Opal flew in and landed between Coldfire and Phoenix. “Yes everything to me are replaceable toys, all except my dear nephews and their friend” Asteroid flew down and landed beside Coldfire. “See, good thing they are half-bloods. Asteroid has the ability to see the future and read minds. Solar Eclipse can read minds, and Phoenix is my loyal, what feels like, daughter. No matter how crazy we get, we are always family” she said this in the most serious tone you’d ever hear, Opal had her ow idea of the world, but certain dragons would never leave her life at all.

"Why cant we move?" Asked sandstorm

As soon as she came in Mavi bowed in respect. "Your highness." he said. But Aster just laughed

"Family? Don't make me laugh. You gave the same speech to the queen killer before me about how I was your "Loyal son". As far as I'm concered you've been replacing your queen killer, your animus, even your hire to the throne has been replaced for years and years." he growls sounding like rolling thunder. "Rather it be from old age or insanity they've ALL been replaced." the ice grows once more. "And just like them one day "My queen" you shall be as well." he growled as he laughed like he was insane.

"Hi opal! Im sandstorm. Do you want a mango?" Asked sandstorm, holding out another mango, which had just frozen solid. Rock was on sandstorm's shoulder, drawing pictures of all the dragons.

Aster jerked his head to face Sandstorm. "WOULD YOU SHUT. UP?!?" he roared as he faced Opal again. "Your "family" are nothing but pieces on the board, each a pawn in one way or another." He hissed again. "Face it...you broke him didn't you?" He growled as he began to laugh. "OH THIS IS RICH THE QUEEN BROKE HER NEPHEW!!!" he roared as he stared into Coldfires eyes. "Your not her bishop half blood...your another pawn she keeps just to have power." he said as the ice kept growing. "Your not important my dear princeling YOUR A NOTHER BROKEN TOY IN HER CHEST!!!" He roared. it sounded almost demonic in nature.

Sandstorm did what she did when she was annoyed at any dragon. She shoved a burnt mango (cold, but still burnt) in aster's mouth then stepped out of reach before he could react. "How about YOU shut up!" Said sandstorm

“I have never had an heir other that Frostbite, she is my first blood related daughter, therefore my only heir. Coldfire is more than that of a pawn, I have broken him, yes, along with Phoenix and Frostbite, when the time has come I’ll step down from my throne, and let my daughter lead the way she pleases. You are the only toy I have, and the only that I’ll ever replace” she hissed “My family is different, despite Coldfire and Solar Eclipse’s quarrel, they’ll still get together, Phoenix was given to me by Kestrel and Hawk, I love her as my own, making Mavi also family. If you continue to act as if you know what going on I’ll just have Coldfire do something to hurt you.” she smiled as Coldfire smirked, his talons flexed as he glared into Aster with his cold, dead eyes.
