Marks the border to the entrance of the Poison Jungle.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) Poison Oak walked along the riverbank, singing to herself. Her eyes were closed, as if she was letting her music guide her, and there was a slight bounce in her step. Today would've ben her parents' anniversary, and Poison Oak was doing everything in her power to distract herself. To make today seem just like any other day, so she wouldn't have to think about her family. She kept singing in her smooth, silky voice, loud enough to scare off a cluster of nearby birds. The Leafwing too no notice and continued walking.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments Aspen glided through the trees. She headed away from the village, away from the other dragons, and most importantly, away from her [[nonexistent]] siblings. She growled under her breath. Why can’t everyone just leave me alone? I’ll challenge the Queen in my own time when I want to, not when they tell me to. I wish I could just get away! As she flew closer to the river, it’s roaring rapids drowned out her thoughts.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) Poison Oak kept singing, completely unaware that the princess was behind her. As she walked, she almost ran straight into a tree, but somehow avoided it and continued walking.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments Princess Aspen weaved through the trees, getting nearer and nearer to the stream. Suddenly, she saw a dragon below her and stopped mid-flight. Silently, she alighted on a branch and watched the stranger. I came all the way out her to be alone and there just has to be another dragon? Seriously?! Aspen glared at the dragon, hoping they would leave soon.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) Poison Oak kept singing. Suddenly, she slipped and splashed into the river. Coming up to the surface, she burst out laughing, finally opening her stormy grey eyes. "Now that is a wake-up call," She exclaimed, laughing a bit.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments Aspen sighed and rolled her eyes. It didn’t seem like the other dragon was leaving anytime soon now that they had gotten in the water. The princess debated what to do. One one claw, she could leave, but she didn’t know where else to go and this was her favorite spot. On the other claw, she could go down and talk to the other dragon. She shuddered. The last option was almost unthinkable.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) Poison Oak felt like she was being watched. She glanced around. "What, no applause from the audience?" She joked, trying to find the dragon watching her.

"away from her [[nonexistent]] siblings."

((Ivy could be her sister?))

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments Aspen snorted. Then she clapped, slowly, mockingly. “Bravo. Bravo. That was an amazing show.” Her voice was filled with sarcasm. The princess leapt off her branch and glided to the riverbank, staring the other dragon in the eye.

((I do uwu))

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) "Oh, hi! Didn't see you there." Poison Oak said. She was a bit surprised, but she didn't show it and held the other dragon's gaze. "May I ask how long you were watching me?" She asked.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments “Oh, just long enough to see you make a fool of yourself.” Aspen replied nonchalantly.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) "I do that on a daily basis, so it's not much of a surprise," Poison Oak said. "I'm Poison Oak, by the way." She hoped that the other dragon recognized her as the singer, and not as the girl who's parents disappeared.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments “Poison Oak... Poison Oak...” Aspen thought aloud. “Poison O- Oh wait! I remember you. You’re that singer whose parents died.” She said the last words as an insult, meaning to twist the knife. “Well whoop-de-do. I’m in the presence of a celebrity. Princess Aspen at your service.” Sarcasm emanated from her every word and she bowed mockingly.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) "They're not dead." Poison Oak said, sounding a slight bit angry. "They're just... not here." She hesitated for a second on hearing the word 'princess', but shook it off. "If you expect me to bow, it's not gonna happen."

[[GTG for a sec! Brb]]

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments “Oh, I am sooo sorry!” Aspen said in mock horror. “I just assumed that they had died because no one has seen them for many years.” The princess rolled her eyes. “Oh, that’s too bad. I was hoping for some action.” Aspen examined her claws, their menacing sharpness apparent. It was widely known that she had once rendered a dragon blind just for bowing. She wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) Poison Ivy scoffed. "It's only been four years. Not that long. They'll be back." She said. "Why? Does making fun of my sob story make you feel better about your oh-so-miserable life?" She asked sarcastically, with just as much bite as Aspen's earlier words. Poison Oak eyed the princess's claws warily, silently praying that she wouldn't attack.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments “Sure...” Aspen mocked her. “Hm... I hadn’t thought about that. Thanks!” The princess shrugged and smiled innocently. She flexed her claws, itching to use them. This dragon was annoying her and she longed to be rid of her.

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) Poison Oak turned her back on Aspen, holding back a snarl. Her entire body was tense as she walked away, half waiting for Aspen to attack her. She started humming a song to herself out of habit.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments Aspen growled, the tone so low it couldn’t be heard over the rushing river. She watched Poison Oak’s retreating form with hate. This dragon was bugging her and she wanted to get rid of her. If she turns around, I swear I’ll attack...

dagger [ain't that a kick in the head] (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh) Poison Oak didn't turn around. She took off into the sky without giving Aspen so much as a second glance.

smile (smileyfox) | 231 comments Aspen snorted. “Good riddance.” She looked around, glaring into the trees. “Is there anyone else out here?” She called out. There was no reply. “I SAID, IS THERE ANYONE ELSE OUT HERE?!” After a few moments of silence, the princess relaxed. Finally. Some peace and quiet. She headed towards the riverbank and dipped a claw in.
