When her parents weren't looking, she would forcefully step on the cat's tail and almost crush the cat by standing on its small, frail body. Mira found that she loved the way the cat shrieked whenever she did something like that. A month passed, and her disorder only got worse. At the age of seven, Mira was just tall enough to climb up onto her kitchen counter.
It was a bright Saturday morning when she heaved herself onto the marble polished counter and took one of the kitchen knives. Her parents and younger sister were still sleeping upstairs, and she knew that she had plenty of time to do what she wanted. An hour later, her parents came running down the stairs when they heard Mira sobbing in the living room. The circular white carpet that sat in the center of the living room was stained crimson red. Next to her, was her small cat, looking like it had been mauled and violently gutted.
Her parents, of course, were absolutely terrified. Luckily, Mira was smart, despite being only seven years old. Before attracting the attention of her parents, she had cleaned the knife and put it back in its place. Next, She told her parents that someone had broken into their house, waking her in the process. When she came down the stairs, she had found her cat like it was. It was convincing enough- for her parents, at least. Her parents refused to believe that Mira had done it herself. Mira's family called the police, who, fortunately, didn't look into the death of the cat too much.
Two years passed without and incident. Well, an incident that could be seen. During those two years, she was still violent, but hid it well. There was one moment that she could vividly remember, when looking back on it. Somewhere around those two years, she captured a large squirrel and set it on fire. All she did was sit there and watch it burn.
At the age of nine, she started seeing her sister differently. She no longer felt any sort of love for her. Her sister, who was just two years younger, age seven, was nothing to Mira. It was sort of the same with her parents, only she still felt a small connection with them. All she saw when she looked at her younger sister, Trinity, was an object. An object that could be played with.
Mira chose a time that would benefit her. It was exactly 1:32 in the morning when she went into her sister's room. She poked and prodded her until Trinity woke up with a small, dainty, yawn. Her sister asked if anything was wrong, but Mira didn't answer. The only thing she did was gesture for Trinity to follow her. Trinity, who was still so young and naive, willingly followed. When Mira finally managed to lure Trinity down into the basement, she caught the younger girl by surprise. She grabbed her sister by the hair to keep her in place and duct taped her mouth shut. She then carried the struggling girl over to a large dining table, that her family only used for special occasions. Mira then proceeded to duct tape her down to the table by her ankles and wrists.
Without getting into too much detail about what Mira did to her, her parents came down the basement stairs to find that their daughter didn't have any fingernails left and had multiple sewing needles shoved into her knuckles and sticking out at random points in her body. The worst thing, perhaps, was the cruel look of insanity of Mira's face.
After containing Mira, Trinity was taken quickly to the hospital. The doctors stated that she was still alive, but just barely. The doctors then suggested that they send Mira to Morwid Juvenile Psychiatric Institution. Her parents were absolutely terrified of Mira, so they eagerly accepted the offer to send her there.
When she was at the institute, her family rarely visited her, and she never saw her sister again. Within the first year, she ended up causing quite a bit of trouble. During the first month she was there, a nurse tried to give her a shot. Without warning, Mira forcefully grabbed the vial and stabbed the nurse multiple times. She later found out that the nurse had died. Mira felt no sympathy. She was then taken to a different room that had more security. She was constantly on careful watch.
Mira has been at the institute for a full seven years.
