How many times a week do you read with your child?
Do you have a special place to curl up together?
Is there a special routine that you follow?

April (reader_in_april) | 3 comments I read every night without fail always in my sons bed. I don't think the night would feel complete unless I or my husband have read to my son. It is just one of those habits that happened to stick...

That's awesome! I miss that....a child just out of the bath, hair wet and in their pajamas. They curl up with you, soft and warm and you read them a story. That's the good stuff. :)

Last night, with a handful of candles and a small flashlight to follow along with the book, I listened to the audiobook of Inkheart. I crawled in between the sheets and let the story wash over me. It was....enchanting.

Unfortunately, I no longer have children at home and it's too early for grandchildren but I still enjoy setting a mood. I think it was a great way to end the weekend and ready myself for the work week. Being that it's Thanksgiving week, I'll only work two days and those will both be in a 4th grade class.
