Every maids room is the same. A single bed with
white sheets is set across the firm mattress. None
of the rooms don't have a small window that can
be cranked open with a handle. It also has small
light gray curtains that match the two pillows on
the narrow bed in the corner of the room, on the
side the door opens to. Also a small trunk is at
the foot of the bed. Some people make it into a
seat and others use it for storage. A white wood-
en dresser next to the bed has just enough space
to fit the the frame and clock that comes with the
room. Also a lamp with the same light gray fabric
and color that is on the curtains makes the lamp
shade. The lamp frame is white and smoothened.
Speaking of frames, the maids bed frames are
black wire but very sturdy. A light colorful
carpet is in the center of the room. A large
hanged picture in a white frame of the Krãsa
flag is hung up respectfully. Lastly two metal
hooks lay on the white walls. One of them is
to be dedicated to uniforms, the other will be
for their nightgowns.

it became bouncy. There is a small window that

and she put a bright pink pillow on it. Her white,

space to fit the a turquoise frame and a clock that
she painted gold. Also, a lamp with the same light
yellow fabric and color that she used on the curtains
makes the lamp shade. The lamp frame is white
and smoothened. Speaking of frames, she painted
her sturdy black wire bed frame green. A light color-
ful carpet is in the center of the room. A large,
hanged picture in a frame she painted gold, the
Krãsa flag is hung up respectfully. Lastly, two metal
hooks she painted silver lay on the white walls she
painted a light blue. On one of them she puts her,
casual clothes, and on the other one she puts her
shorts and shirt that she sleeps in. (hide spoiler)]

Alex walks into her bedroom after a long day of waiting on ladies. She sits down on her trunk, which she uses as a small seat, to think.

This whole system isn't fair, she pouts to herself. Some random people become royalty just because their mum or dad was royalty, and the rest of us are left to make them their fancy gowns and suits and dust their bedrooms.

Alex sighed. At least she was a lady-in-waiting and not a cook or something... Or a guard... Those are even worse jobs.

Maybe something could actually happen today, She thought. Maybe someone would knock on the door then tell me that I was actually the queen of a distant land, then... No, that's not ever going to happen.
