Hi guys - time to nominate for our next read - I still need to catch up on Eating Animals too!

There were already some great nominations from last time so maybe take a look at previous lists or suggest something new. Depending on how many nominations we can either do a poll or figure out between us.

Back soon with my preference :)

Ok I like the sound of The Secret Life of Trees that Claire mentioned I think previously. Should be easy to get hold of. I also like the sound of In Open Country by Rahawa Haile. It's a memoir of walking the Appalachian trail as a black woman. That may be trickier to get a hold of but I'm happy to try.

Any other ideas or thoughts?

Claire (claire-m-90) | 50 comments Yeah I like the sound of A Secret Life of Trees too. I don't have any other suggestions at the moment.

Awesome, sounds like we are on board. I don't think we have enough members to out vote that so let's confirm it.

If anyone fancies Overstory as a buddy read I've ordered that too.

Claire (claire-m-90) | 50 comments Ok I've just realised I've ben writing the name of the book wrong on here but wrote it right on the last nominations page.
So are we reading The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben?

Claire (claire-m-90) | 50 comments I just picked this book up to have another read of the blurb, thought I'd read the foreword because it was really short... I'm in! I think I'm going to really enjoy this book!

Cool! Yeah it seems really interesting. I just finished reading The Overstay and theres a bit in there about a book just like this so its great timing (recommend Overstory btw, happy to make it a main read later if people fancy, I'll still contribute)
