What's Next? discussion

It's hard to believe year-end lists are already being published! I usually find this one a good mix of books I've already read or on my to-read list. Not this time! I've read none of these and only had two - The Yellow House and Night Boat to Tangiers (also on Booker prize long list) - already on my shelf.

I've selected a few others to read - Disappearing Earth; The Topeka School; and Say Nothing.

Any recommendations?

This list makes me think I need to reassess my sources (goodreads, amazon, the guardian) of books to read. We are almost at the end of the year and somehow I have not heard of any of the books on the list!

I'm most interested in Night boat to Tangier, Disappearing Earth and Exhalation and seriously wish I've heard of them earlier.
