Chess walked throught the halls. She was a little grumpy at that girl. She acted so rude and conceited. She looked around. Maybe she could dance a little. It always cheered her up. She started to spin a little and a smirk came over her face. She plugged in her headphones and started to dance to Michael Jackson.
((Michael Jackson, nice XD))
Elfie came out of her room her hair in a loose braid but stray strands of hair that had escaped her plait hung at the sides of her oval shaped face. She heard s pair of feet making soft yet rhythmical noises and she raised her eyebrow and looked to her right seeing the girl dancing. She crossed her arms over her chest, looking quite amused.

She heard s pair of feet making soft yet rhythmical noises and she raised her eyebrow and looked to her right seeing the girl dancing. She crossed her arms over her chest, looking quite amused.
((Thank ya Ma'am XD))Chess did a moonwalk and then spun around and stood on her tip toes. She smiled, finally relaxed. Until she looked to her left to see the girl. She bit her lip and forced herself not give her a glare. She was not going to make enemies. "Can I help you?" She said almost out of breath.
"Michael Jackson? At least someone has some taste in this place." Elfie smiled slyly and pushed herself off of the frame of her hotel door and tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. She was shorter than the girl, not by much tho. The Irish girl let out a sigh escape from her lips.
"Yeah so?" Chess said. Why was she watching her? Was she trying to stalk her and find a weakness? Was she like those girls back at home? She hoped not. She hated the plastics.
Elfie leaned against the wall checking her fingernails. "Relax, I'm not a secret spy sent here to steal your... 'moves'," She said making airquotes upon say I g the word moves. She, herself didn't like hip-hop. Modern, Jazz Ballet were more her thing.
"Sorry." She said biting her lip. "I just hate it when people watch me. It throws off my focus." It was the honest truth. She loved it when she could go into complete focus and not care about anyone's opinion. It was just her and the dance floor. Or what she could improvise.
"Hmph," Elfie rolled her eyes and blew her hair out of her face. This sure was a cliché dancer; afraid of people watching, she looked shy, what next she could sing beautifully? People like that annoyed the heck out of the Irish girl. She pushed herself off of the wall and walked around the girl with mild interest.
Chess raised an eyebrow. "And you are acting creepy because?" She said with a smug smile forming on her face. She slowly formed her arms over her chest. She tried to hold back her obnoxious laughter.
She rolled her eyes in boredom. She then pushed past the girl to get to the window. She crossed her arms over her chest. "If you think your all 'cool and slick' because you "dance" like that. Then you don't know what dance is." She smirked cold glint in her eyes.
Suddenly she knew what she was doing. He confidence level boosted dramatically. "Is that a challenge?" She asked with a wide smile forming on her face.
Elfie smirk grew. "It has a brain." She commented and looked at the other girl. "Game on."
Chess laughed. She started to do a moonwalk and then spun around and stood on her tip toes. She looked back up with a competitive gleam on her face.
Elfie rolled her eyes and walked down the Hallway before turning to face the girl with a smug smile. She rstood side ways then stuck her foot out and stepped on that foot in a turning motion the repeated it before jumping and doing a jeté then she fell on her knees softly, rolled and stood up in front of the girl.
Chess walked backwards and did the splits and formed into the position to stand on her hands. Then she did a back flip to get up. She was trying not to laugh. This was actually the best thing that happened since she got there.
Elfie had to admit, this was fun. She jumped doing a box then landed on her feet before twirling on one for doing a jump and doing what she called a 'plane': with her arms either side of her, and one leg in the air going higher until her leg was straight up. Her muscles ached and she had to go down into a crouch, then she rolled and jumped back up, an actual smile on her face, a small one.
Chess couldn't help it. A small laugh left from her lips. She started to tap dance but then she mixed it up with some more hip hop. It was a kinda crazy move. Then she made a final pose with her hair flipped and her arms crossed. She laughed again.
Elfie nodded with approval then did a dramatic bow then blended backwards to do a bridge then kicked herself off of the ground doing a mini backflip. She ended up doing it wrong and landed on her chest. She erupted into a fit of laughing at her humiliation. If her friend, Matt, where here He would faint since he had never heard her laugh before, ever.
Chess laughed with her. "Are you okay?" She said through her laughter. "You did an amazing job." She said with a smile offering a hand to help her up.
"Yeah. Yeah. I'm fine, lass." She chuckled and took her hand gratefully. "You too actually, just between you and me: I work better with music." She smirked.
Chess giggled. "Same here!" She let go of her hand as soon as she was up. "I should have shared my iPod." She teased.
"Cheeky, aren't we?" She mocked playfully. She liked this girl, she was cocky but not too cocky. She could relax around her, right? Maybe even tell her- No! You just met her! She snapped herself.
"Oh yes, quite cheeky we are." She said with a laugh. She had a feeling that even with the rough start they were going to become good friends.
Elfie rolled her eyes. "Tell me Micheal Jackson girl, what's your name?" She asked.
"Francesca, but call me Chess. And what is your name Ms. Epic Ballerina?" Chess asked with a bit of sarcastic humor.
"Hm, okay, Chess." She murmured softly. She rolled her eyes, "You can call me Elfie, I suppose." She muttered.
Elfie looked up cocking her eyebrow. "You got a problem with my name?" She asked coldly. Her eyes flashed with anger and... sadness for a split second before they returned back to normal.
"No! Never!" She said with her eyes wide. "I think it sounds kinda tough. You seem like that tough kind of person." She paused. "Did that come out wrong again?"
Elfie furrowed her brows as she looked at Chess, a frown tugging at her lips. She shifted awkwardly. "Well- thank you." She said and cleared her throat.
"No problem." She said with a relief. "Hey, how long have you been dancing?" She asked her curiously.
Elfie shrugged. "Since I was six." She replied feeling slightly uncomfortable with the sudden questions.
"Oh cool! I have been dancing since I was eight!" She said with a smile. She noticed her become uncomfortable and she was quiet and slowly took in the beauty of the silence. She preferred talking though.
"Nice." Elfie said. "I usually dance with my best friend tho, even if he can be a lb arrogant pain." She said with a ghost of a smile on her face.
Chess laughed. "Oh really?" She said with a fading laughter. She smiled widely at the thought or a boy dancing in tights. For some particular reason it was hard for her not to think that.
"Oh, yes. He is so full of himself! His ego is bigger than his head." She muttered. Then a smile tugged at her lips. "But he's a real sweetheart."
"I should introduce you two, you guys have so much in common." She smirked
"Oh so now my ego is bigger then my head?" She said sarcastically. Elfie was fun to goof around with. She, in a weird way, understood her humor.
"Maybe, maybe not." Elfie smirked crossing her arms over her chest. "Well, would you like to know his name or not?" She asked, teasingly poking Chess in the cheek.
"Fine." Chess said playfully. "Is it something like, James or Josh? I am sensing a 'J". She started tapping her chin.
Elfie looked at her with a cold smirk on her face. "No... His name is Mathew, AKA Matt." She said in a mater-of-fact tone.
Elfie shrugged. "He is when you first meet him, he can be a bit boring tho." She admitted.
Chess laughed. "Really? From the way you described him I couldn't tell." She said with a smirk forming.
"Trust me, once you've known him for ten years you know what foes on in hiss head." She rolled her eyes and sighed. "But- never mind." Elfie said.
Chess giggled. "Don't worry. I get it." She said. "I have a friend like that. Actually two of them." She said with a shrug. "Kinda fun though because you can freak them out."
Elfie shrugged. "I suppose. I would freak him out if I laughed, or actually smiled." She said casually before stretching. "Would you like to meet Matt?"
