#1 Come Homicide or High Water by Denise Swanson (and it was excellent!)

Great review! Is there a big difference between the original series and the 'welcome back' series?

There's not really a difference. It's the same setting and characters, but now they've moved on in their lives. We see the main character married with children now. I'm really enjoying it.
