I've answered the questions that I thought I definitely knew the answer too. I was write quite a bit, but also wrong. Surprisingly, I got quite a lot of the questions under 'sport' correct. Who'd have thought it?! Anyway, I've read through all the questions and I'm going to mull over some of them. I swear I know some more of the answers but can't quite put my finger on the answer just yet. Hopefully, they'll come to me. There are LOTS I definitely don't know the answer to.
I'm starting It's Not OK to Feel Blue (and other lies): Inspirational people open up about their mental health for question 17 Science: Yay (published by Penguin).I'm also starting The Calculating Stars for question 9 Science: Nay (significant character is astronaut/space explorer) or question 21 Geography: Nay (originally published 2018). I'll probably use the astronaut task but I'll wait until I've started reading it to decide if it fits. The book series title is 'Lady Astronaut' which suggests the main character is an astronaut so should work.
I started The Silent Patient for Card 2 Art/literature: Nay (thriller). It may fit other tasks. I'll gopher better another day. EDIT: Alicia, one of the main characters, has red hair (card 24).
Badge 1, book 1Card 9, Science: Nay
The Calculating Stars
431pgs (ebook), same for paperback.
Read a book where a significant character is an astronaut or space explorer.
Elma York, the main character, is the first Lady Astronaut. Most of the book, she is trying to become an astronaut. Stetson Palmer, who is a significant character in the book, becomes an astronaut quite a bit before she does though.
Badge 1, book 2Card 24, Entertainment: Nay
The Silent Patient

Read a book where a main character has ginger coloured hair (red).
Alicia, one of the main characters of the story, has red hair which is mentioned a few times throughout the book, with this being the first on page 9 (as it describes one of her self portraits) "strands of long red hair falling across bony shoulders."
Started The Bands of Mourning. Fits for author's surname begins with S - card 4, art/literature: yay. Also has 'band' in the title so would work for card 27, entertainment: yay. I'll probably use the latter.
Badge 1, book 3Card 16, Art/Literature: Nay

The book's genre is time travel. 363 people shelved the book under Science Fiction > Time Travel

We are doing the challenge at the same speed Sarah :)What did you think of Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by the way?
I am surprised how fast i've whizzed through it this year. I guess I did have a lot of time at the beginning of the year after my surgery and now with not working.I really liked Eleanor Oliphant. It was sad. It was funny. And it was heart warming. I thought it was done really well.
Starting The Goblin Emperor would work for 1st in series, also has a crown on the cover of sorts. Need to check which cards they are for.EDIT: cannot use for crown in badge 1 as I have completed that card for badge 1. Use for first in series, card 8.
