I just finished this fabulous book, and I'm impressed with how certain details foreshadow or reflect back to different parts of the story.

I noticed a few things when Daniel is describing Cristina (especially when he held her as a baby). He notes that her toes remind him of a four-leaf clover, and at another point, "clover" is used again with Cristina.

So the theory is that the baby that Puri loves so much – that Puri affectionately names "Clover" – is Cristina. The couple that Puri meets with baby Clover at an earlier part of the book (and whom Puri helps decide to adopt "Clover") are Daniel's parents. This could also explain why Puri seemed shocked when seeing baby Lali.

I have no idea if this was glaringly clear to other readers (I take awhile to really register things in my brain!!) but realizing this made me love the book even more!

I thought the exact same thing. I figured out that daniels parents adopted slover but was shocked when i found out she was lalis sister

But did Puri KNOW that it was a match to Julia's baby, Lali? That's the question I have!

I just finished this book as well and I really liked it but i did wish there was more to then ending. I realized about the baby when Puri went with her mom to Ana's house and she sees Lali since she's shocked and says something like oh what have I done and with everyone else taking about the babys being stolen i figured it was something like that
