I need book releases to fill my Coming Attractions column in Kings River Life. I need December ones, but am also scouting for books coming out in 2015. HELP!
Oh my! You should ask that question over in the authors' corner. You'll find a lot of books coming out over there.
Sunny - My second novel in the Major Crime Task Force series, entitled Right To Bear Arms, is due out prior to Christmas. The first in the series, A Choice of Darkness, remains a 5-star read at Amazon and 4.8 here on Goodreads. Let me know if you would like additional information.
GUT-CHECK GREEN weaves murder, mayhem, veteran’s issues, drug dependence and an evil agro-business company into a prescient read. He has a sparse writing style and the story really moves. Bottom line, this is a great read. http://www.amazon.com/Gut-Check-Green...
Nancy wrote: "Sunny, I think I'm going to move this thread to "In the Press, Blogs and Websites." It's much more appropriate there. I'll wait to see that you got this message, then do the move. Thanks!"Thanks, Nancy. I've been getting great responses.
Thanks for getting back to me. Over Christmas I think I'm going to fix that entire folder so it's not so crowded.

Hi, folks. I had the honor of flying with the Air National Guard in Iraq and Afghanistan, and that experience helped inspire the series of novels that I write for Putnam. My newest novel, Sand and Fire, came out in hardcover last July, and it comes your way in paperback in June 2015. The next in the series, The Hunters, will be released in July 2015. These novels are military thrillers set in the present day. The series began with The Mullah's Storm in 2010, followed by Silent Enemy in 2011, The Renegades in 2012, and The Warriors in 2013.
I've been waiting and waiting to publish Targeted, the third book in my Ray Schiller Series. It's only a question of getting it back from my very pokey formatter. I'm more than excited that it's so close to publication because it's Ray Schiller's most harrowing case yet.

Description: When a homosexual Dutch art dealer hides his gallery’s stock rather than turn it over to his Nazi blackmailer, he pays with his life, leaving a treasure trove of modern masterpieces buried somewhere in Amsterdam, presumably lost forever. That is, until American art history student Zelda Richardson sticks her nose into it.
After studying for a year in the Netherlands, Zelda scores an internship at the prestigious Amsterdam Museum, where she works on an exhibition about paintings and sculptures once stolen by the Nazis, still lying unclaimed in Dutch museum depots almost seventy years later. When two women claim the same painting, the portrait of a young girl entitled Irises, Zelda is tasked with investigating the painting’s history and quickly finds evidence that one of the two women must be lying about her past. Before she can figure out which one it is and why, Zelda learns about the Dutch art dealer’s concealed collection. And that Irises is the key to finding it all.
Her discoveries make her a target of someone willing to steal – and even kill – to find the missing paintings. As the list of suspects grows, Zelda realizes she has to track down the lost collection and unmask a killer if she wants to survive.

In THE ICE CREAM BLONDE, York Brothers Studio security chief Neil Brand solves the murder of a famous movie star, whose public personal is a far cry from his real life,The Naked Nymph in the Dark Flicker: A Neil Brand ThrillerRay Dyson in which he is mixed up in murder, blackmail and white slavery. In the just-released NAKED NYMPH IN THE DARK FLICKERS, Brand tries to protect the career of a rising young star who is caught up in a treacherous blackmail scheme that turns to murder.David Swatling of Big Thrill magazine said in part: Hollywood 1931. A place where bulls interrogate frails, and dewdroppers hang around waiting for their big break. A place where finishing a movie can take precedent over blackmail or even murder. These are some of the challenges that face film studio security chief Neil Brand, ex-cop and former stuntman, in Ray Dyson’s THE NAKED NYMPH IN THE DARK FLICKERS. This hard-boiled crime story is a dazzling mix of noir and Hollywood history, told with the gritty light and shade of a classic black-and-white motion picture.

The victim led an unblemished life: perfect wife, successful business, financially secure. Everybody admired him. But is everything as perfect as it seems?
The investigation progresses, unveiling disturbing secrets – secrets that someone is willing to kill for. But with little evidence and no clear motive, Lane struggles to make headway. Her frustration is further complicated by external factors, forcing her to confront her own recent grief and vulnerabilities.

It's not a new idea. It's even been the subject of a famous movie. But so simple that even a bunch of old ladies living in a small town can do it. At least they should talk about it. Which is why Magda has called this meeting....
A parable about the dangers of underestimating some people, inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train".

Hi EveryoneMy latest novel "Death Duties" has just been released as an eBook, and is free via kindleunlimited and KOLL.
Death Duties
Alice Blacklaws thought she knew Nathan Kingsley.
A talented sportsman, an honest businessman, and a doting fiancé, he’d loved and cherished both Alice and her daughter Olivia long before they decided to tie the knot. But when someone pays a contract killer to shoot Nathan dead on the steps of a provincial hotel, and his devious brother Luke tries to disinherit the grieving Alice of everything Nathan had ever done for her … well, maybe it’s time for Alice to think again.
When Rose Bennett is asked to liaise with the dead man’s family on behalf of the East & Northern Bank, she isn’t sure what she’ll uncover. If a customer dies in suspicious circumstances, and his accounts suggest signs of financial irregularity, you can never be sure of the fall out. But as she attempts to untangle Nathan’s twisted financial affairs, a pattern begins to emerge.
Nathan Kingsley was keeping secrets, secrets someone wanted him to carry to the grave. And as those secrets are revealed, and danger comes ever closer to Alice and to Luke, Rose finds herself facing the very worst kind of killer, a killer without a conscience.
For the man who killed Nathan Kingsley, compassion is nothing, if the price is right. And duty is just a business obligation, to deliver death to order for whoever is paying the bill.

In a thrilling conclusion, they race against time to prevent more attacks and get justice for their loved and not so loved ones.

Roanoke Ridge: A Creature X Mystery
"BRILLIANT...indeed an excellent book."
-- Maureen Jennings, author of THE MURDOCH MYSTERY SERIES
"A fun, engaging read, written with lots of informed insider insight on a fascinating field -- and with some neat cameos from the real world of sasquatch research and investigation."
-- Dr. Darren Naish, zoologist and author based at the University of South Hampton, UK
"With Roanoke Ridge, J.J. Dupuis gives us a mystery centering around that primal human need to believe that something is out there. And here that something is, of course, a seven-foot tall, stinking man-ape. The book is mischievous, zany, and fast-paced, and it skewers our pop-culture lust the whole way through."
-- Jeff Parker, author of WHERE BEARS ROAM THE STREETS and OVENMAN
