I attempted this last year on Pike's Peak and did not make it. This is made sadder by the fact that I will have read 50 books by the end of this year and still didn't manage to read 12 I already owned. This year I am starting here. A warm up hike if you will. A chance to get into shape. But I am also putting a restriction on myself. If I don't finish this challenge, then next year, I am getting rid of the number of books I did not read. Like Bev, I will be counting DNFs as part of the goal. If I finish, I'll move to the next mountain.

As a side note, I will be attempting to get my books to conform to the popsugar challenge. Wish me luck.
Ah, the lure of new books & library books makes the climb so difficult. But it can be done - just keep plugging away!
Good luck! I understand the lure of new and borrowed books all too well, while I have piles of book at home begging to be read.
5. The Siren by Kiera Cass
I've had this one since January 2016. It's hard to believe. Glad I finally read it. Quick, sweet, and a nice take on the Little Mermaid
6. The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August
by Claire North -DNF (I tried so hard, but I couldn't make it through)So with this, I have completed Mt. Wycheproof!
I will be moving on the next mountain
