Thanks again, Jonetta, for taking the time to post questions for discussion. I'm glad we read this book.
You’re welcome, Charlene! Thanks for your patience in waiting to read it.
I got the next book from NetGalley for review so I’ll be reading it in March, close to the release date. So, the questions will be waiting for you when you’re ready to read it!

There wasn't enough page time for just some quiet Sebastian and Hero moments. Other than that, it was another great mystery.
You didn't discuss Madame Blanchette, the French fortune-teller. Her information and warnings to Sebastian and Hero are interesting. I like how both of them visit her with no intention of getting their fortune read, yet she gets both to cut the cards. Both readings are incomplete.Madame Blanchette warned both Hero and Sebastian to be aware of someone close. For Hero, I think it is a warning about Victoria. Sebastian, I believe it is a warning about his quest to find his biological parents. I fear his mother is going to be a disappointment. I'm not sure what he is going to gain knowing who fathered him.
