I got the Kindle edition of A Court of Thorns and Roses for $2.13. I guess I'll find out what all the buzz is about. :)
I often buy books from Amazon that are under $5. I also get a free book from them every month as a Prime Member. Don't know yet what I'm going to read for this category. Maybe The God Extinction which is a sci-fi archeology book.

Hi Sandy, is the free book a physical copy, or an e-book?

I read For A Few Demons More for this prompt. I got it from paperback swap a few years ago. If you read ebooks, you can also get discounted or free books through bookbub.
If you borrow a book from the library does this count? If not, I think it's time for a trip to Savers!
I’m going to get a book from the library for this category so it counts! I mean it’s free so definitely under $5!
For my Picture Book challenge: The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher by Beatrix Potter. Came to $4.12 at a local used bookstore. (3 Stars)
For my Novel Challenge: Burned by P.C. Cast. $2.00 at a Library sale. (2 Stars)

Lucy Foley, the Guest List. Good mystery and kept me reading till the end to see who dunnit. Special offer price under $5.
The Wages of Whiteness: Race and the Making of the American Working Class by David R. Roediger
Completed: July 31, 2020
[Purchased at a book sale on $0.10 day]
For this prompt I use a book borrowed by the library (here in Spain they're open since May): The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde, a classic, but it did disappoint me... the aforisms were too much for an easy reading...
