My brother is after some authors like David Baldacci who write short chapters - the immediate one that comes to mind is James Patterson. I've had a look at some of the paperbacks on my to read pile, and found that Kathy Reichs, Peter Robinson and Peter James do, but wondered if anyone could recommend anyone else?

I think he would prefer them in ebook format

Cheers

Pamela | 4 comments Yes, i recommend Alex cross series by James Patterson. He's got a new book out now called "Hope to Die" Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but if found Patterson's books a good read.

Ellie Stevenson | 21 comments Robert B. Parker's Spenser novels - Spenser is a private eye - direct and down to earth. Parker's books have good characterisation (he wrote others apart from the Spenser series) and dry humour.
