Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Here are some of my current works:

The Lasting Empire
https://www.goodreads.com/story/show/...
With a world suffering from the after effects of war, power tries to rise and take control. Now they are battling life itself as each race looks out for themselves.
Rachelle is just getting used to her life when she is dragged from her home to a world she'd never heard of. She meets her twin, Ryan, and her father, Oran for the first time. They have been tasked with the burden of mending this new world together as they try to get back home and return to normal.

Wolf Pack
https://www.goodreads.com/story/show/...
Rose has always loved to hunt, but not only does it calm her nerves and fears, but it is one thing that keeps her family going in a land where so little humans still exist. And one person who'd disappeared long ago was Roses' own, sweet Gram. She misses her so.
One night, while Rose is out hunting, she spots a creature resembling a wolf. The wolf brings her to a clan. Packed with wolves of all sizes.
And Rose sees Gram...

Mindless War: Rieux
https://www.goodreads.com/story/show/...
After the great war suffered between the lands of Upril and Utrye, the remaining pexi must choose one land to join, or perish in the Nolands. Rieux is convinced he can resist the mind manipulations of Utrye, and he enters the land. But the thoughts and commands seem to be too much for his mind to handle. And he knows he has to escape somehow. But how?

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Write about a story called The Aftermath.

The Aftermath

It started with a bang.
And ended with a crash.
Then nothing was the same, buildings in ruin, many had passed...
And the sun never rose.
The darkness made everything cold. Things stopped growing and rain ceased falling. It was only a matter of days until they all died.
Except for Jade. He was special. Life was constantly thriving inside him. Warmth tingled in his arms and hands. It never left.
He walked through the aftermath of the crash. No one knew what caused it.
Only Jade.
When the light came down, it had enveloped him, then he enveloped it. Now he had warmth at the tips of his fingers and beating in his heart.
If only it wasn't Jade. He wanted so badly to be a normal, dying, boy. If he hadn't been hit--if anyone else had been hit--he wouldn't feel responsible for their lives. He was the only one given the gift of life, why only him?
With this gift, he might be able to save all his loved ones. His family and friends. People he didn't even know but surely deserved to live.
More deserving than Jade, that is.
But he didn't know how, and how would he learn?

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) I had an idea. I don't know how long it will last (or if it will last) but I thought it was at least worth a try.
I want to try to combine the prompts (Aftermath and forth from the rest) into one story... Probably not in chronological order XD.

That would be so cool! Also, sorry I won’t be able to do the sci-fi one, I just don’t have enough time

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) One day, the sun rose in the west and set in the east

Granite watched the sky, waiting for the light, though he knew it was hopeless, the sun would never rise again. He knew it was the truth, but he couldn't help but hope. A ray of light, a trickle of warmth, even the color green.
Granite was turning around to retreat to his cave when a burning heat hit his back. Light flooded from behind him.
Granite looked straight at it, which was a bad decision that he quickly corrected by looking away.
The oddest thing he had noticed when he'd looked at it though: the light was coming from the west, not the east.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) When your grandmother died, the inheritance was divided between you and your two siblings. One got all the money; the other all the property and possessions. All you got was a packet of gardening seeds.

This... Will be difficult to connect XD
BREATH... Here we go!

They were all jealous of Beryl. He got the seeds.
He knew it sounded a little backwards, why would the people with all the money and land be jealous of garden stuff?
But the thing is, when the sun disappears, gardening seeds are more precious then any mere rock of gold. Even if you can't grow them, they're food.
When Flourite died, it was devestating, but known to happen. Flourite hadn't been in very good shape even before the supernova, so it was to no ones surprise that she couldn't survive longer than an hour without the sun.
She'd given her three children what little she could:
Spinel got the money, Jasper got the land, and Beryl got the seeds.
If Flourite had been anything before the supernova, a gardener was one of them.
Now Beryl was planting a seed. Pea seed. It was only one, and he wasn't sure if he had enough water for it to grow. If the seed sprouted, Beryl would get at least seven more seeds and a plant.
If only the sun would return.
Everyone was hoping, but they all knew it wouldn't ever happen.
Beryl poured a few drops of water onto the seed and I light flashed in his eyes, almost as bright as the sun, and just as warm.
But... The light did not come from the east. It rose in the west.

That’s so good!

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) The future of the human race does(not) depend on creating colonies on other planets.

Many emerged that day, it was the first day they'd had since the supernova. They warmed their backs and shed many tears, hugged, laughed.
But Opal wept.
All she could think of was how much Jade would love this. But she'd pushed him away not long ago. She had been mad and had taken her anger out on her poor son. She'd been confused, then he came home to tell her something that he had kept from Opal for so long:
He had been struck. By the supernova, by the sun.
He had felt warmth, light and life.
She was mad he hadn't told her. So Opal pushed her dear son away. Told him there was no place for him in her home.
And Jade left.
Now there was sun and warmth for all, and he wasn't here to experience it..
The light rose from the west. That was the first odd thing she noticed. The second was that the light was touching the earth. Not over a distance. No, the light seemed to be standing on the earth. And the earth seemed perfectly fine with that.
Then the light faded and showed three boys standing a circle facing out with hands separating.
Jade met her eyes and Opal gasped, pleading forgiveness with her eyes.
Jade turned away. He wasn't ready yet.
"You aren't the sun?" Someone in the crowd asked.
A boy that Opal did not recognize shook his head, chuckling, "No, but we are all sons."
Jade shifted his feet.
Another boy in the circle added, "We found each other and discovered the similar power within us all. When we joined hands, it was enough to spread life to everything around us."
Jade took over, "But there is the problem of space. We knew we couldn't be around everyone at once and puzzled on how to solve that dilemma. We have come to the conclusion that to survive, we must leave Earth."
There was a collective gasp in the audience. "How do you plan on doing that?" Someone asked.
"We asked the same thing," the first boy answered, "So we came up with a plan..."
The boy trailed off and everyone turned to see what the matter was.
It didn't take long for them to find out: They all had seen the sun.

Another amazing story from Sushi! You’re so talented!

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Awww! Thanks, Abi!
Hey all! I now have six chapters updated on goodreads and working hard to get a seventh!
I hope you enjoy!

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) The story begins with the reveal of a long kept secret.

"I have felt that life within me as well." Alex wouldn't look Jade in the eyes as he spoke. "A power inside that keeps me alive... And not just after the supernova."
Jade furrowed his brow and he studied Alex closely. "What do you mean?"
Alex didn't respond when he stood up and grabbed a banged-up pot from the scrapped tabletop.
"I said what do you mean?" Jade asked. Alex bore the same gift as Jade and he had yelled and forced Jade out the house with that knowledge? Confused Opal, turned her against him? Now he tells Jade that he shared something with Jade all along?
Alex still didn't answer, filling the pot with a handful of dried herbs and a rotting, dead rodent.
"Alex, is it not bad enough that I and two other teenagers are forced to find a home far from earth for every living human? Why can't you just tell me some simple truths?"
Alex sighed, returning to his stump stool, dying like everything else. "You recall when I got sick? All those years ago?"
Jade nodded.
"That's when it started." Alex continued. I suddenly felt a life inside me one morning, a burning life. It transformed my whole being with the rise of the sun. The life compelled me onward and Rose me from my darkest of times. When the doctors checked my x-rays, they reported to partials of sunlight running through my veins. They said this was common, just that I had been missing mine through the sickness. But it grew. I could feel it growing. Forming into a ball of energy and light. I was mugged, Jade..." Jade's breaths slowed, eyes stared. "Right before the supernova, I was mugged in an alley. They stabbed my chest when I refused to give them what they wanted. They hit the ball of energy inside me and it popped. The particles of sunlight scattered through my veins but didn't leave, keeping me alive through such a lethal hit. But... The supernova occurred."he looked me in the eyes for the first time. "I think I caused it, Jade. I think I caused the supernova."

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”

"If we travel by light." Jade concluded in front of the audience. "We can get there in only a mater of time. With every life imbued human helping out, we can travel to a worthy planet without much trouble. Your gifts aren't to be frowned upon any longer. Now they are praised!" He finished his speech with his fist raised in the air and cheers erupted in the audience.
(To be finished later)
