MSM Sophomore English 2019- 2020 discussion

Percy Jackson has been through more stuff in his life than most will ever have to go through. The problem is he can't remember what he's been through. All he knows are three things his name, he is a demigod son of the Roman god Neptune, and the name Annabeth. He is on his way to the only place where his kind can be safe. he hopes to find the only thing that he knows is a link to his past life that he can't remember; Annabeth.

How much stuff can a person go through before it breaks them mentally and physically?

Once Percy finally makes it to the only safe haven for his kind he finds out that it won't be a safe haven for much longer. The monsters that demigods are tasked with defeating will no longer die. The god a death has been chained by someone allowing the monsters to run rampant and to be virtually immortal since they just reform instantly after being killed. Now Percy has to make a choice of staying at the camp and finding his friends from his old life or saving this camp from destruction.

When does ones want to solve their own problems first, get outweighed by the need to solve the problems of others first?

WOW! this is an interesting book, I think I might read it sometime!
