With only two more weeks (and a few days) left of 2019, it's our last check-in for the 2019 MLCL Reading Challenge. I am (finally) on my last book and made the mistake of leaving the Book You Didn't Read In High School until the end...only to be reminded that there was a reason I didn't read them in high school. :-) But I started a book this morning (The Great Gatsby) and hope to finish it in the next week, before I leave for the holidays.

So, how has the Challenge been for you this year? For me, I was reminded why CHALLENGE is in the title, because it really was that for me.

Sara Caauwe | 31 comments I have two left. I’m reading the book recommended by a friend right now, and I have the book you should have read in high school next. I’m going to read Pride and Prejudice for that, and this challenge will make me get through it!

I have very much enjoyed this and I can’t wait to see what the 2020 challenge looks like.

Craig | 11 comments Pretty close to completing this challenge.
Looking back I can record reading books in 23/25 of the MLCL 2019 Challenge categories.
I had to read a Dave Barry Book to get my humorous book in..

I still have to read a book published in the decade of my birth and a seasonal/holiday title to complete the whole challenge.
Not bad at all.b
This year I got on a kick about Native American stories as well as books by and about Iceland which were both great, but made it a bit harder to finish the challenge.

Overall I’d have to say I enjoyed the challenge.

FINISHED!!! Pretty much down to the wire, but I got them all in. Now to start looking at my TBR and see what I can roll over into the 2020 challenge.
