(( So sorry))Pearl dove into the pool without a splash loving everything abut the water.
Triton walked up to the pool and dove in.
Pearl looked up startled at Triton. " Hello" She said
Pearl looked at the seawing. He looked like her except he wasn't a royal. He seemed nice at the very least but he was a bit too quiet like he had a secret. It was a bit strange to say the least.She gracefully swam up to him " What's your name?" She asked trying to start a conversation. She didn't like awkward silences and she tried preventing them as much as possible.
"I'm Triton." Triton grumbled, "Who are you?" he asked the new seawing. He could see she was a royal from her wing patterns
(( Please stop))"Pearl" she said calmly. He seemed simply introverted not a bad dragon. " Are you alright?" She asked him
"Nice to meet you Pearl, Yeah I'm fine." Triton answered, 'Why does everyone always ask that!' he thought to himself, 'OF COURSE I'M FINE!' he thought
"Alright then" She asked cheerfully. " What do you want to do?"
"I don't know? Swim? Why?" Triton asked suspiciously
"Because it's for fun" She said
"Oh, um, yeah. It is fun." Triton said, surprised he was agreeing with Pearl
"Come on" She called diving into the pool again. " Let's play a game" She flashed at him
"Sure!" Triton flashed back, it'd been so long since he'd seen a friendly seawing that wasn't part of the school
"Who can catch the most fish?' she flashed " Can i use my necklace?" She had a necklace allowing her to control wind. it was a seaing heirloom and she had inherited it.
"Well, what does your necklace do?" Triton flashed at her
It allows me to control wind She flashed. It was just a joke she wasn't going to really use it
"Cool!" Triton flashed he darted around and capture 3 fish in his mouth. "How many can you capture?" he flashed at her
Watch Water wirled up and 15 fished were dropped on the shore
" Neat!" Triton flashed at Pearl. Triton swam up to the shore and put his three fish down in a water puddle before catching another 4 in his mouth and putting them in the puddle.
Thanks She swam up and heaved her self out of the water
Triton shook himself and gently captured all the fish in his mouth before letting them back in the water.
"Your good at this" She said admiringly. He clearly was a skilled hunter
"Thanks!" Triton said, he was unsure why she was being nice to him, did she want something from him?
" This was fun" she said happily
"Yeah, it was.", Triton said. 'He was happy? Why? All that happened was an insignificant dragon, who was a royal!', His mind added in to his train of thought, 'An insignificant ROYAL had paid attention to him and was nice to him. Was this why he was happy?' he wondered
[I got to go, SORRY! I'll be on tomorrow!]
Triton looked at Pearl, he felt like smiling, almost. He hadn't smiled in the longest time. He furrowed his brow, why would he smile? It was the royal's fault that his mother was dead, it was the WORLD's fault.
Pearl looked at him confused. Was something wrong with him? Was he made at her? Pearl couldn't understand his mood swings
Triton sat down on the wet stone of the cave. He didn't need anyone, ever.
[Sorry, Triton has anger issues, and trust issues, and just, issues]
Triton looked at Pearl out of the corner of his eye, she seemed confused. He could get why.
Pearl deicded to let him be. To let him cool down about what was getting him so mad. Afterall everyone needed space at some point
He sighed, he wasn't being fair to her, and he knew it. But that was how he was raised. The royals killed his mother. The royals ruined his life. The royals... They had done everything that could be done wrong wrong and then some other things too. His father always told him, "Never Trust a Royal, they'll stab you in the back without even caring you exist."
Pearl looked at him sadly wondering why he was doing this? Was it because she was a royal? Did he hold a bias against her for being a royal? Pearl shook her head determined to get to the bottom of all this confusion. She dried herself as she waited for Triton to calm down. She didn't want to tickle a sleeping dragon. She didn't want to lose one her few friends that treated her normally and she liked his i-treat-everyone-the-same attitude.
Triton looked at her, should he hold the grudge that he was taught since childhood to hold? Or should he forgive her and wait to see if she did stab him in the back?
Triton shook his head, he would try to be friends with this seawing named Pearl.
Pearl made up her mind. Flying over to him, she settled down. " Did I do something wrong?" she asked. She worried about her friend's feelings. If he wanted to be her friend that was. After all, he had simply left her without a reason
"Oh good" Pearl said relieved. " Are we friends?" She asked. She had never had many friends and didn't know how these things went. Al she had were suitors and tutors.
