Can I just say that although I love the thought of finishing up some of my series , those that have patiently been waiting to be started and those that need to be continued, I also see a long list of rereads just to familiarize myself with them again. Hello old friends ;-)
I've got so many books waiting to be read I'd feel guilty rereading anything for awhile. Maybe if I make a lot of progress in 2015, I might be able to re listen to the Troubleshooters series.
Oh I'd forgotten I could just listen to them. That seems to go faster. Thanx for reminding me. And I wanted to open my list for 2015 under individual plan.
Just click on the folder and then "new topic" and you can add your Individual plan. If you have troubles, I can open it for you.
I think I better ask you to open it for me, Jonetta. I keep leaving something out. And can't figure out what that is.

I am going to be adding a whole list of series I need to continue and the ones I have finished onto my list. I love being organized! Thanks for making this group, Jonetta! :D
I, too, will have to start over some of my series in order to finish up. I especially have 2 in mind.....Feral Warriors by Pamela Palmer (when I started the 5th book, I had to stop because I couldn't remember what came before) and Sentinel War by Shannon K. Butcher (I think I reached the 4th or 5th and the same thing happened).
Whoa! I just added what I think is all the unfinished series I have... That is my entire year planned and then some! lol unless I read like I did last year...where I got more books read.:) - This is a great challenge. I am excited to have them all in one spot!

I started that series years ago and got pulled away by new series. Might be interesting to return to that. Thanx Jorran for reminding me about them.

Hi Trinity! I'm doing okay...have a bit of a cold I can't seem to shake :( BUT it give me an excuse to stay in and read ;) how are you?
I finally gave in and watch the Jack Reacher movie with Tom Cruise. It's a good enough movie but I must say that I couldn't get over how short Tom Cruise was. How do you fit a 5'6" guy into a 6'5" role?Has anyone else seen the movie and what did you think?
I'll be going back to the series soon. I've already read the first two books in the series.
I have read the first three books in the Reacher series and am looking forward to the rest. I have not seen the movie...I am not sure if I can with Tom Cruise in the role. I don't see him as Reacher in any way. lol.

I haven't seen it yet but since it's on Netflix I plan to watch it. Scratched my head about the height disparity since Reacher's physicality is a big deal in the books.

But sorry ladies I had the perfect weather for the beach. And after helping a friend move out of varsity res the beach was calling.
Thanks Michelle! Glad you had great weather. It snowed a bit here (Vancouver,BC)Yep I will use ANY excuse to read. Even waiting in line at the grocery store I will pull out my eReader lol.

But it's not just the height thing. It's the 50 inch chest and giant hands... Lee Child's ridiculous comment that 'cruise can act that tall' didn't help

I am doing good, just not happy with Thanksgiving break being over, I wish I could sleep in again.
Thanks, Trinity! Starting to get better. Sorry about your break being over :( but hope you had a good time off :)
That's great to hear. :) And thank you, I did have a wonderful 3 days off from school. I am kind of happy to be going back to school just not going back to the work. I have to start working on a science project which is due next week, and I have yet to begin! I am such a procrastinator. :(
Lol. Dawn I was in Spain this year for my winter!! I'm so hoping next year work sends me to Europe again

It's a website where you can track your series.

It will tell you the next book in a series. In my case I figured out I had skipped several in a series when I thought I was going through it correctly. Free, but a lot of work since you have to put it all in.
I love using it. One of my favorite things to do is mark a book as "read", lol!
Another useful thing about the site is getting notifications on new books in series that you follow and a great new release calendar.

Yes it is a lot of work at first adding all the series that you've read and are reading, but once that is done, its really easy.

Thank you ladies I think I'll join. I a find that over the years I've read series out of order and am never really sure if I've read them all. Sound a really great way to keep track.
I'm a little late into the discussion, but I use FictFact also and love it. I'm always letting the library staff know when a new book is coming out since I get the great emails.
I use it too. It's perfect to keep track of your series, especially those you might otherwise have forgotten.
Fictfact helps keep me reading in order. I like that they also show where the novellas fit into a series.
I like using FictFact but just haven't taken the time to enter all my series yet...I think I have entered around 60 of them thus far. I really like getting an email informing me when a new release in one of my series is coming.
You have 60 series !!!?? Lol must be books. I've only entered the ones I've started the last two years or so. If I should enter all my series I'd be so far behind in most of them. I'd never read anything current
