Do you like the cover for this book?

I do there is just something mysterious about for me. Do you like it? I just read the first five chapters last night, and I am absolutely loving this book. I am hoping to read the next 5 chapters tonight. How are you liking the book so far?

Not really I like how it is black in the background but I really don't like the face. I like the other two covers tho. I read the first 5 chapters as well. It's very intriguing and I can't wait to read more of it :)

I didn't know there was other covers. LOL. That is how observant I am.

I meant for the other two books in the trilogy sorry I should have been more specific.

So far I am loving this book. I just finished chapter 15 today. Only because I have a lot of other books to get caught up on. (view spoiler)[... But I am loving Karou. She is trying to figure out who and what she is. I just love how Kazimir trying to lovey up on Karou. Especially when he shows up in Karou’s class naked. I love Kazimir’s demeanor, there is something about him that draws me into him. I loved how she gave Kaz the itches and he had to leave the room. Zuzana is a very good friend to Karou and is very funny, she levels with Karou in a way that I don’t think anyone else would. Her jobs that Kishmish gives her are odd. Then she enters the new world through a door? This part confuses me. The mysterious handprints by Akiva, I wonder what he wants? Brimstone, who clutches tight to the wishbone around his neck, has Karou doing to many errands that Zuana is missing her. Karou’s next mission is to get more teeth for Brimstone, Izîl is the man she meet, but during her encounter with him his shadow, Razgut licks her. This weirds her out, it would me too, and she leaves. A difficult question is asked by Izil, and that is if she could save him from Razgut, but the only way to do this would be a bruxis, but she would have to extract her own teeth. I thought that there was a lot of action, names mentioned, and mysteries in these first 15 chapter. I was having a hard time following this story at first. (hide spoiler)] How are you liking book? I am really enjoying it! I am on chapter 9 and I hope to read a chapter or two tonight. Anyways I really liked that scene as well with kaz and karou when he shows up at her school and she makes him itch. I am fascinated by Prague and I feel like its such a cool place. Also why teeth?

See that is what I want to know. Brimstone is holding tight to that wishbone. Oh I am so happy that you decided to read this with me. But does Karou enter the new worlds through a door? If you get that far or you have please help me out.

Ya I think she just enters the door and she gets there.

Also when I read the book the first time I imagined akiva to have blonde hair and then when I read the chapter that said he has dark hair and I was like WHAT!?!?!?! haha.

I finished the first 15 chapters :) I really am enjoying it. What is your favorite part so far?

Oh man that is a hard one, I don't know if I have a favorite part, but I am liking Kazimir. I have no clue why. what is your favorite part? I Imagined Akiva with blond hair also. I was really confused when he had dark hair.

Same it is a pretty hard decision now that I think about it.....I liked it when akiva and karou were fighting and she was pounding on the door and Issa wouldn't let her in. I know that I'm only about 110 pages in but I'm not quite understanding why I didn't like it very much last time I read it. I am really liking so far and I don't see what it is about the book that made me not like it :P

When I first heard of the book, I refused to read it. For me it was way to much fantasy for me. Now that I am getting the chance to read it. I am actually loving it.

That's right. I'm kinda behind on my reading already.

I was so engaged in this story that I accidentally read chapter 31. Oops.

Haha I'm a bit behind on my reading because I had to finish a couple library books.

This ws an interesting book. It takes a lot of thought and comprehension to read it, and the wisdom throughout it is beyond the character Karou is.

What chapter are you on Daughter of smoke and bone?

I'm currently on chapter 17 but I will catch up probably tommorow or Sunday :)

When I read the part with akiva interrogating razgut and izil I kept getting confused who was the angel with the wings cut off and who is the cursed guy...

I wonder why brimstone won't let her see any of that other world :P

I'm caught up!!!! Yay :)

That question ran through my mind. I am thinking it's something she need to know or see.

But I don't think brimstone intended for her to see it

Maybe not, but I am wondering if its a good thing that she did.

Chapter 30-45 this week

I am behind on my reading. But the book I will be done with book 1 by the end of the month.

I'm a bit behind as well so it's okay :)

I am still on Chapter 32. I am hoping I will read some of the book tonight.

I am hoping to complete this book by the end of the month. I did not expect to get a contact eye infection. But the weekly Schedule I have for book two is as follows:
January 2-9th Chapters 1-20
January 9th-16 Chapters 20-30
January 16-23 Chapters 40-50
January 30-Feb 6 Chapters 60-70
February 6th-13 Chapters 70-80

I know that the first week will be brutal, but I thought we should get the hard part done first 1st. :) I hope this will work.

I've read and loved both Daughter and Smoke of Bone and Days of Blood and Starlight!!! I hope you both enjoy them too. I still have to read Dreams of Gods and Monsters though :p. I have the first UK cover editions and I just love them ones. I think they're a lot nicer than the covers with tue faces :p

Those are so pretty! I don't really like the first u.s. cover but the other covers aren't to bad.

I'm sorry but I don't think I can read this trilogy with you anymore. The beginning of this book isn't bad but I am just not liking the rest of it and to be honest I don't care what happens to the characters or the story D.N.F. At pg 322 I'm so sorry.
