I could get a copy for my kindle and start on Monday? I'm working all weekend. Let me know if that works for you.
I've Jane of lantern hill and the Blue castle. Can I join. ? I've read the whole Anne series including Anne's house of dreams but for The Blythes are quoted.
I live in India. And I have an attack of conjunctivitis starting today morning so I may be a bit late to start. Never mind I'll catch up.
Afternoons and evenings because I am working in the morning. I have a suggestion. Can we decide on a specified portion or pages for a specific period and we can discuss on that? Also can we have a separate thread for each book. ?
Sorry just saw the time difference talk. I live in the U.S. I like the idea of saying we'll read a certain amount of chapters between discussions.
I have started a new thread Jane of lantern hill under group reads? If its ok by you can we continue there?
I too would like this group to be more active. I'll be able to start reading more as soon as the holidays are over. I'm glad I've found others who share my love of L.M. Montgomery. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.
Ive read the whole series and am not very intent on reading them again. But let me see. I will definitely join in the discussions.
I started reading Anne of Green Gables. If I remember right we were going to start reading it in January?
Yes I did. Sorry didn't realize there was a thread for the Anne of Green Gables read. I'll try and find it.
All I can say is that I did not like JOLH. Characters were all incredibly unlikable. The ending bothered me because it takes their daughter almost dying to make them realize they still love each other? I just didn't like it.
Exactly. I did like the writing though. Just like all other L.M. Montgomerys books it was beautifully written.
