I think I am going to try a minimum of 6.I just got The German Girl on Scribd. So I will start there. I would like to do mostly women authors. So I’m looking at Vicki Baum and Irmgard Keun. Any other ideas will be most welcome.
I have never read any Stefan Zweig, who I think will fit the challenge. Any recommendations?

I am moving up the mountain to the next level!Have on my list:
Blue Jewellery by Katharina Winkler
The Radetzky March by Joseph Roth
The Hottest Dishes of the Tartar Cuisine by Alina Bronsky
Hour between Dog and Wolf by Silke Scheuermann
And hope to read more.
For my third read I have just completed The Train Was On Time by Heinrich Bill. superb. I gave a 5 star rating which I rarely give but with this book, I know I shall never forget the characters, the synopsis nor the wonderful almost poetic prose. What a read! Highly recommend.
