Just watched the first couple episodes. For the most part I'm enjoying it, but there are a few scenes that look like they were filmed from a camera mounted onto a washing machine in a spin cycle. I usually don't notice camerawork, but this was one of those can't-unsee things for me.
Spoiler-free update now that I've watched the whole season:Why is Henry Cavill so sweaty?
I don't care if you have magic eyes, if you're in a cave, your pupils are going to dilate.
I only care about Yennefer.
It's 2019. We can do better eye shadow than this.
The Nilfgaardian armor makes me nauseous. If you have a bad reaction to weird textures, brace yourself.
WHY IS HENRY CAVILL SO SWEATY.
It's a good show. I get the hype, and I get why so many people are pushing the fact that Game of Thrones shouldn't be considered the standard we compare this (and every other fantasy franchise) to. It doesn't have the enormous scope that GoT had, and honestly, that's why there are probably three seasons of GoT I zoned out through.
