Haha! We do just the same ;-)
The lower branches are always empty. But then we have three cats and two neighbor cats that are regularly visiting ;-)

You know, it reminded me of a time when I was young and we were living in Baltimore, Maryland. That part of town was mostly one color and I was usually the only white child on the playground. My dad was at work one day and as his assistant handed him something, he opened his mouth but before he got a word out, she said “Before you go flappin' your jaw, I think all you white folk look alike, too.” Haha!
