It's probably worth digging out the The Pickwick PapersThe section, 'Christmas at Dingley Dell' probably does a lot to define our idea of Christmas
Well obviously A Christmas Carol! The Snowman by Raymond Briggs, not the Jo Nesbo one!
Skipping Christmas By John Grisham
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Sort of!
The Christmas Train don't remember much about this at all although I only read a few years ago.
Santa's Christmas Eve Blues by Douglas Lindsay one of my favourite authors at the mo. Just read it last week. It's a shorty and rather good fun.
Bah humbug. The only good thing about Christmas this year will be sharing a curry and champagne with a rather charming man.
There better be champagne, dammit!
I will probably be spending christmas itself snuggled up on my couch with a good book and a bottle of wine. My big family visit will be on the 3rd and 4th of January and then I hope a couple of days with Dave and his charming fluffy bunny.

But I have homed them and loved them and cherished them for years! Why should I turn them away now??
Last year I suggested we sprayed the cobwebs with glitter. It'd look very festive.Re books - my mum's recommended John Grisham's Skipping Christmas - she thoroughly enjoyed it, made her laugh
I'd recommend Treasure Island. It's got a map with an X in it, and seeing as Xmas contains an X, there's a connection...bwa ha ha :)
