I’ve DNFed The Magic Mountain for now. Will try again in May. Will pick up something else soon - probably Imperium by Christian Kracht.

3) The Castle by Franz Kafka
4) The Metamorphosis and other stories by Kafka
5) Death in Venice and other stories by Mann
This might change. I’d like to have a woman writer in there somewhere, but these are the ones I already own so I’m prioritizing those.
