The ever-changing mystical yet treacherous Dulcet Wood.
Where music is everywhere — whether it's a soft melody,
a soothing tune, or a jovial beat, the music's there wherever
part you are in this forest. But be wary; not the whole forest
is a safe place to be. As long the music you hear remains
pleasant to your ears, you're far from harm. But when the
music comes with a haunting aura and ominous melody, it's
time you run lest you be driven mad.

A young woman, who looked about fifteen or sixteen was walking through the woods. She wasn't truly paying attention to the music that played, finding it just annoying. Though she did keep herself alert for any danger. Not only did she have a lovely sword at her hip, but also metal hand fans called tessens. She wore a white and black lolita dress, that looked very much like a maid's outfit, which it was.

She was there on a mission for her employer, there was a certain poisonous plant that he desperately needed, but seeing as the woods were too much of a hassle, she was sent in his stead. She walked along the path that seemed to glow with purple light and grumbled as the path shifted causing her to get pushed off track. "Deary I don't want to go this way, I want to go that way." She snapped and taking her tessen she expertly spin it, so it would cut through the branches and vines. Immediately the music grew ominous, yet of course she ignored it. Nothing was going to scare her away from completing Warren Peter's wishes.

Well this place was certainly new, a blonde woman thought to herself as she walked through the forest. It was musical and the lights emitting from the trees seemed to have a neon glow. It almost reminded her of the city back home, not that she'd traveled there often enough to miss it.

Delilah was the woman's name, and why she was there walking through these woods was for information. It seemed like Wonderland was a never-ending expanse of items to explore and study. Her hands ran across the glowing foliage, her steps leaving glowing spots behind her. She was about to push her way through some brush when there was a loud sound and the... plants in Delilah's path were cut down, revealing a young girl. The woman stood there dumbstruck for a second before taking a glance down at herself. She was wearing her Wonderlandian clothes, oh thank god. She's learned by now that wearing anything else but the strange style of this world got even stranger looks and suspicion.

"Why hello there, darling, a little frustrated with the scenery, are we?" she put on an easy smile and act with ease, the way of speaking coming naturally to her at this point.

The girl stopped for a moment and glanced at the woman, blonde hair, sky blue eyes, pretty enough yet something about her overall appearance was off. She gave her a once over and then met her eyes. "I have a job and a deadline and nothing is going to make me late. Not vines nor music, not man nor woman." The girl replied were words flooding off her tongue almost whimsically and like something you would hear in a book. They sounded like lines that were well rehearsed, but that was not the case. This girl that stood before her was the maid of the White Rabbit and she did as he ordered, for the most part.

Her name was Marley Antoinette, but over her years acquired the disdainful nickname of Mary Ann. She had rounded almond eyes that were the color of the forest and her hair was its usual dark brown, though it had a slight wave to it. She was quite pale and petite, yet still had a lethal look to her. She gazed at the woman before her with an unwavering gaze and her eyes were calculating and processing whether she was a threat to her, she wasn't.
