Robin (robinmy) | 3527 comments I'm planning on a vacation at Disney World at the end of January and into February, so I've combined my monthly reading plan into two months this time. It's still probably way too ambitious for me. I know I won't get much reading done while I'm in Florida.

Group/Buddy:
✓ The Highlander - Kerrigan Byrne (2,3,4, - Jan) ★★★★☆
✓ The Kiss Quotient - Helen Hoang (RLftCI - Jan) ★★★★★
✓ About Last Night - Samantha Hunter (Hqn - Jan) ★★★☆☆
✓ The Duke - Kerrigan Byrne (2,3,4 - Feb) ★★★★☆ 1/2
✓ Sudden Death - Allison Brennan (2,3,4 - Feb) ★★★★☆
✓ The Next Always - Nora Roberts (NR - Feb) ★★★☆☆ 1/2
✓ One Mom Too Many - Vicki Lewis Thompson (Hqn - Feb) ★★★☆☆ 1/2

2, 3, 4:
✓ A Risk Worth Taking - Brynn Kelly ★★★★☆ 1/2
✓ Perfect Victim - Kelley Armstrong ★★★★☆ 1/2
Seal Camp - Suzanne Brockmann
✓ Murder at Beechwoods - Alyssa Maxwell ★★★★☆ 1/2
✓ The Boy - Tami Hoag ★★★★★
✓ Fever - Joan Swan ★★★★☆ 1/2
Blaze - Joan Swan
✓ Cry Wolf - Maggie Shayne ★★★★☆ 1/2
✓ Eternity in Death - J.D. Robb ★★★★☆
✓ The Restorer - Amanda Stevens ★★★★★
✓ Murder at Feathers and Flair - Lee Strauss ★★★★☆ 1/2

Standalone:
Dangerous Games - Tess Diamond
✓ Against the Wind - Anne Stuart ★★☆☆☆

Short Story/Novella:
✓ The Road to Hidden Harbor - Anne Stuart ★★★☆☆ 1/2

Robin (robinmy) | 3527 comments My first books of the year are winners! First I read Fever (Phoenix Rising, #1) by Joan Swan Fever by Joan Swan. Someone recommended this book to me (I don't remember who it was), and I really enjoyed it.

Robin (robinmy) | 3527 comments Winter is a great time to curl up and read a book. I've been working my way through a couple of them.

First I read About Last Night by Samantha Hunter About Last Night by Samantha Hunter. I didn't care for the plot of this book. And, I thought the secondary romance was better than the one between the main characters.

I listened to Murder at Feathers & Flair by Lee Strauss Murder at Feathers & Flair by Lee Strauss. Good cozy mystery. The narrator does a great job with the various accents.

Last night I read The Kiss Quotient (The Kiss Quotient, #1) by Helen Hoang The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang. This one was very different. I'll definitely be looking for more by this author.
