One Line Story
Startled, she pondered if it was friend or foe.
She crept as quietly as she could to her tiny door.
She put her little paw on the door knob, fearing to turn it because of who -- or what -- might be on the other side.
She paused, where was her friend - supposedly her protector?
Suddenly, there was an almighty crash and the door splintered.
A blinding flash of light made the figure on the other side seem menacing
Without hesitation she darted past the figure in the door.
She raced through leaves and ducked under branches until she came upon a little door in the ground.
She opened the door and slide down into a spectacular underworld.
Just a short distance away was a spectacular waterfall with tiny -- just her size -- nymphs playing in it.
Staying low to the ground, she crept up close to the water's edge to watch them play.
But she wasn’t careful enough and she slipped.
The nymphs were startled and turned their heads to where the sound came from.
The mouse, whose name was Cindy, ended up in water over her head, and called to the nymphs for help.
But the naughty nymphs just laughed and went back to their frolicking.
However, there was one among them who didn't share their amusement.
She went up to Cindy and pulled her out of the water onto land.
"You should watch your step more carefully, little mouse," the nymph scolded.
"I promise to do that in the future," Cindy said.
As she turned and tripped over her feet.
This time the nymph chuckled. "I see you are a clumsy little one", the nymph said.
Cindy just gave her a shy smile and mumbled her thanks.
She looked around her at this strange place, the plants were different here.
But she spied some raspberries behind a wilted lettuce so decided that a raspberry pie would be just as delicious.
She rolled out two pie crusts, put in the raspberry filling, put on the top crust, and popped into the oven.
once it was done she took a bite and realized it tasted strange. She ignored her intuition and kept eating not realizing that instead of filling the pie with raspberries she filled it with marijuana leaves.
Which made her hungrier as she keep eating the whole pie.
So she went to the fridge and got a bottle of soda.
She froze, as she felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise and panic build on her stomach.
Was that a shadow at the window or a giant cat waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting mouse?
She went to the kitchen drawer to get a knife.
Hearing the crunching sound, she took two steps back, and wondered if this is a nightmare she's dreaming
Then she saw two large yellow eyes staring at her through tree leaves.
"What big eyes you have" said Cindy.
The creature stepped forward, clad in a black cloak and hood, the yellow eyes curious, not angry.
"What's your name and what do you want?" Cindy asked while she clutched a knife behind her back.
"First child, put down the knife before you hurt yourself." the hooded figure replied.
"It's not about how I've seen it, Child. But, how I know. Now put down the knife before I answer your questions.", replied the hooded figure
Giving the hooded figure a suspicious look, Cindy said, "Not until I know you won't hurt me."
"Ah child, if I wanted to hurt you, you would already be dead" replied the hooded figure.
And with a wave of her arm and some magic words Cindy was transformed from a mouse to a young woman.
After looking at herself in a mirror, Cindy wasn't sure she liked herself as a young woman.
"Why did you do this to me?" she asked the hooded figure.
"My child", replied the hooded figure, "Because this is who you really are."
Ok guys. So the aim of the game is to create a story. Each person can add a sentence each. Let's see where we end up shall we?
