What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hello,
I am looking for the Title/ Author of a book I read in jr high back in 2000-02.

It is similar to the Christy Miller Series in that it has a female main character and it is a Christian novel.

It is set in modern day (no old west or victorian era)

I think it is in a school/ small town environment

I think it has 'Creek" or "Brook" in the name of the Series.

Sorry for the incredibly vague details.... I borrowed it from a girl in one of my classes, and after almost 20 years this is my last hope of finding it....

The only series I can find with Brook and series is Carrie Bender's Whispering Brook Farm. It's a series with Amish characters and it's from the time you remember reading it.

The character for sure were not Amish, but thank you for your reply!

Have you looked into more of Robin Jones Gunn? She has a series called Glenbrooke. There is also the Sierra Jensen Series which follows along the Christy Miller series. Inevitably all of the books lead back to each other though.

Jade, please add some of those details you wrote about to your title/header. For example, you could add "modern day, school or small town environment, may have Creek or Brook in series name".
