Laya turned away with a sneer and started sharpening her knife. Just wait, She told herself. I'll wipe that smile off her face.
((Okay, got it, nevermind XD))
Willow was sitting by herself in the back of the train, staring longly out the window and wishing she was anywhere but here, on this train to almost certain death.

((Are we rping where both the people in the district can win?))
"Yeah," she said, looking around the cabin again at all the different people. "Not to be the pessimist here, but some of these people have been training all their lives. I don't really have a chance."

((Okay))
"Yes, screwing up would be very bad in this case," Willow said, turning her attention back to the window.

"Okay, thanks," Willow said, standing up and walking stiffly into the dining room of the train, hating how everyone stopped eating to stare at them. Probably trying to figure out how they should kill us, Willow thought.
James slid over as a girl sat down beside him. District 12. Better to keep a lookout for them, even when- why did he keep thinking like this? James hated these stupid Games. But everyone else in his district seemed to love them. "Finally, what you've been waiting for!" he remembered his mother saying before he had left. In truth, the only reason he had volunteered was because Ben, his brother, had been chosen, and his leg had been basically dead since he was 13.
Willow shifted uncomfortably in her seat, stealing glances around the room from time to time and picking at her food.
((Nah, let's just make it up as we go. Or else it'll get boring, if we know who the winner is.))
She looked over at the girl who had talked. But before she could say anything, James said, "You betcha."
She looked at him, instantly feeling like she had seen him before. From last year's Games, she remembered. Then she looked closer and saw he wasn't the one she had seen before.

Luke shuffled down the train. "The road to death." He thought, approaching Lise, the only person he knew. "Hey." He muttered. "Ready for this?"
He shrugged. Luke wasn't expecting much of an answer. Lise wasn't the most talkative person, but, you know, neither was he. "Yeah, not really."
"Nah, if you want to die, do it right before the games, after all the good food. You can die in peace." He stated sarcastically.
He sighed. "So much for that advise. Look, Lise. I've known you for a while now, and you're a decent person. You might as well die a noble death than in vain." He grinned. "After all, you would break my neck if I wouldn't kill you. I won't kill you. I couldn't, yet anyway. So you might as well use your strength on someone more worthy as an opponent then me." Even though he grew up in District 7, Luke was still a scrawny boy.
"Yeah." He shook her hand. "That way, you won't kill me anytime soon." He gave a weak smile. "You're a worthy companion."
"You'll make it farther than me. They know that the competition is survival for the fittest. I'm not. They're probably betting on you, not me."
Luke's stomach started rumbling. He grinned sheepishly. "Sorry. A bit hungry. Know where to get food?" Even at home, where he went hungry most nights, he wanted to get a decent amount of food before they got there.
"Thanks." He managed to drag his feet over to the area where Lise pointed and managed to put food on his plate without spilling any. Luke sat back next to Lise. "Like the food?"
Luke shrugged. "More food than at home." Occasionally, he would bring home enough meat from hunting to fill his family's stomachs, but more often than not, he came home with only a little. The areas where he could and couldn't hunt were mostly bare, except for the occasion where a deer strayed off into his district.
Luke chuckled. "Napkin?" He handed her his unused napkin. "You seem different than how you act at school."He stared at her, trying to decipher her personality. "I might as well get to know you better, 'cause you're in my alliance.

((Hahaha!))
Willow looked over at the boy again. Wasn't he a Career? This made no sense. She didn't want it to make sense. She sat there, saying nothing and talking to no one.
Cera sat down in a cozy chair, reading a book about the history of the Hunger Games. She needed to prepare herself for this, mentally, along with physically. She occasionally took a bite out of her meal, but was engrossed by her planning.
She felt someone staring at her. Cera shrugged and turned around. She saw Lise, a menacing looking girl, and went back to her book.
{{WELL. I THOUGHT SHE HAD 'MUSCLES' AS SAID IN THE PART WHERE SHE COULD BREAK SOMEONE'S NECK.))Cera shuffled silently, still carrying her book, toward the trash can to throw away the remains of her meal.
Kailey walked into the dining hall and stuffed her plate. She sat next to he people from district 7 and observed the other tributes Most of them were bigger that her but she had had a lot of experience hunting so she could use a lot of the weapons. Also she was great with plants and the ther tributes might not be

The Career boy had started to talk to her again, but Willow wasn't listening. She abruptly got up and walked out of the room.
