If anyone wants to make a pure-human character to antagonize (Mah big word for the day) Chayne, Evonne, and any other mutations, then that would be appreciated.

I could make one, but I'm an amateur Roleplayer who is really bad at Rping more than one character at a time.

There's not a character limit, but I would suggest stopping at four.

She's flippant and rude to everyone, but even more so to mutations and other non-pures. However, once she learns to trust you, she'll go to the ends of the universe for you. She actually has kind of a tragic backstory for why she hates non-pures.

Other: She has the ability to shape-shift, but she never does it in front of others. That's one of the reasons that she's so rude to non-pures, to cover up the fact that she's one of them.

Epsolar Species:
very similar to hyenas in behaviour and appearance (see above), also similar to humans in behaviour and appearance (mostly bipedal, pattern-seeking thought), some influence from lizards (scales and eyes), and raccoons (hands and some behaviour, tail fur).

society/genetics:
they're sequential hermaphrodites, but switching is purely practical. sexuality and gender is a more fluid concept because of this, and most would fall under the human term demisexual. Matriarchal society. they don't have pronouns, but rather family titles. People are referred to as children until they conceive children, at which point they become parents. They have pronoun equivalents in English however, and still have genders. it's just a lot more fluid (hence the ish).

behaviour/general: Their planet is small, and they have a predominant language, although some cultures adopt human languages as humans become more widespread in media. Their society is mostly hunting based, and femininity (being strong, ferocious, and generally aggressive) is still heavily rooted in their society. They will steal and attack if given the chance, but because of their position as the only planet in their solar system, they're not in a position to do so.

mirrors Jakkel's with variations including different shades of brown in scales and different patternings in fur, and scale/fur ratio in tails. common genetic mutations include having multiple tails (the most ever recorded was four), not having one or multiple primary limbs (legs arms and tail are primary limbs), deafness, blindness, muteness

naming conventions:
young hyenas will be referred to by a common word until they mature into adolescence. when that happens they will choose a personal name and receive a role name, both to be used throughout adulthood. role names dictate what role you play in society.

made up entirely of roots, their word types consist of adjectives, adverbs, verbs, nouns, titles (their equivalent of pronouns), names, and interjections. there are no conjunctions, prepositions, pronouns, or determiners
they have a set list of root words and a set list of 'shared words' (made up of those root words), but they also have variations in the set list based on region. for example, one place might call a chair "optiona" and another region calls a chair "optionb"
there is no variation in the root words
individuals can also make up words using the root words they know by necessity. for example, pancake_panic's character Juice.
Jakkel comes across Juice during the RP and has never seen anyone like her. His species has no word for such a creature. Instead, he made up a word for what she is that roughly translates to 'living water/liquid". If he were to bring up Juice in a conversation with another epsolar, that individual would have no idea what he meant but could infer based on the root words used, some rough approximation of what he meant. Similarly, regional differences are not much of a hindrance because inferences can easily be drawn as to what a word means.

clothing and jewellery:
shaving your hair in patterns is the equivalent of getting a tattoo, you get it temporary and have the hair grow back, or have the actual follicles removed and have it be permanent. it's a religious taboo, but that only stops traditionalists
piercings (especially body piercings) are less taboo than they are with humans, although some are still against it
piercing your scaly skin is the equivalent of body piercings other than nose piercings, much more taboo and some people who are okay with furry body piercings are not okay with scaly body piercings.

hunter/fighter specific clothing:
utilitarian and durable, natural colours/patterns (purple, red, pink), the equivalent of a work/military uniform

gatherer/farmer specific clothing:
big, solid colour, lots of storage space

maker specific clothing:
solid colour, durable, minimalistic, all pockets, built-in tool belt

entertainer specific clothing:
big, flamboyant, can be pretty much anything so long as it looks good, patterned and brightly coloured

caretaker specific clothing:
solid coloured, no bright colours or complicated patterns, simple patterns are okay, soft and comfortable, easy to move around in, insulated storage spaces for food and toys to keep kids occupied, has the equivalent of a baby bjorn attached to the front
