Ariela R. “If I win, I'm a prodigy. If I lose, then I'm crazy. That's the way history is written.”
This book was one of the books that spark my interest to read more fantasy and find other forms of books that are similar to this one. The Artemis Fowls series also lead me to read graphic novels and broaden my horizon in literature books. Without this book, I wouldn’t even think of reading fiction books or weird books. This book will make you question whether or not you should be intrigued by our main villain or terrified that he is a 12-year-old boy that has a butler that can take you out without using a weapon. I believe that if you want to get into a series that's about mythical creatures and bizarre crimes, you should start reading this book that can give you both. Whatever you choose to think of the main villain, Artemis Fowl, remember that he has many connections everywhere in the world.
