My favorite character is the Darkling. He's the villain and the evil one, yes I know. However, there's some vulnerability that he shows to Alina. I feel bad for him because he's loved, yet not that the same time. And you can't deny that you weren't attracted to him at some point in the whole story. The ending just... devastated me. I still think about it even after months of reading it.
