I love Jo Nesbo, but have only read Snowman and his one-off Shakespeare adaptation Macbeth. I would like to go back to the beginning and read through the series. Sounds like it would take me a while to make it to Knife :)
Sounds like it's right up my alley based on your review.

Hope you’ll enjoy the series if you get to it!:)
The first ones could possibly be a good fit for Bingo if you’re playing.

I didn't join the challenge this year, but I appreciate the heads up.
From the one book I read I know I love Harry Hole already ;)

Knife is the twelfth installment in the Harry Hole crime series, and I have followed it since the beginning. The last couple of books haven't been that strong, but this one was good! So dark, and fastpaced, my heart aced for Harry. It's difficult to say anything about the premise without giving spoilers, so I'll keep it brief. Harry is back on the drinking wagon, and his career is at stage, but at the same time the only thing that keeps him going.
I *did not* see the twist coming, even though I thought I had! So any crime book that keep throwing surprises at me gets my attention. If you enjoy the Harry Hole series, I am sure you'll enjoy this one (best read in order to get the character development). Very entertaining, but be warned, quite dark!
