Rhi thought she'd buried her hurt over Samson ghosting her, until he suddenly surfaces months later, still big, still beautiful—and in league with a business rival. He says he won't fumble their second chance, but she's wary. A temporary physical partnership is one thing, but a merger of hearts? Surely that’s too high a risk…

I still have to finish but also... thanks I hate it? I don't like the male narrator's voice at all and his character isn't any better for me.

yeah, I think my main issue is that (view spoiler)[the author added heavy hitting topics for like.. all the characters, and it drags things down. So with him, it would have been nice for his character to have a little less going on (maybe not all of it but SOME) might have made me dread his POV less (hide spoiler)]

I give this credit for the issues it broaches, but I felt so little for the characters that I can't say I liked the book at all :/

Omg all the parts with Katrina were the best though and they had the most chemistry??

omg YES -it was so nice when they had cute conversations, and then the book would skip light conversations between the protagonists and i was like???? where is this cuteness with THEM?

yeah like I wanted it to be so SATISFYING because that shit is nasty in a workplace but he was just sneering and i was waiting for the moustache twirls. he needed to be more dynamic imo, less of a plot device
