We've got yet another Stephen King on deck! Grab a copy and start reading with us; we'll read until about April. Hope you enjoy the book and we'll try to move beyond King in the future in case anyone is tired of this author ;-)

Vickie (bookfan4ever) Loved this one! I'll pop in to see what everyone thinks.

If you like conspiracy tales and/or kids with abilities, it's a pretty good escape from reality. I can see why many GR reviewers (about 80%) gave it 4+ stars. I rated it a little lower, but I'm a meanie.

message 4: by Kim (new) - rated it 5 stars

Vickie (bookfan4ever) That's how I felt too. Couldn't put it down.😊

StarMan (thestarman) | 1943 comments A few discussion questions. Feel free to answer one or more -- or ask your own questions!

1. Is The Institute one of King's best books ever (in the Top 10)?

2. What GR star rating would you give this book?

3. What did you NOT like about The Institute?

4. Was it a "page turner"?

5. Would you recommend it to someone who usually doesn't read "horror"?

6. Challenge: Write a ultra-short review of this book (25 or fewer words).

7. Challenge: Sum up the book in 5 words or less.

8. Recommend a non-King book for readers who liked The Institute.
