This guide is full of information relating to life in Europe in the 16th to 19th centuries – inspired by the taonga (treasures) on display in the European Splendour 1500-1800 exhibition in Ngā Toi | Arts Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.

I have always found the quote “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” relatable because growing up I have always had a love for history, art, stories and books but because of my Dyslexia I have always struggled with reading and writing. I hope you enjoy this book because I definitely enjoyed creating it.
