Hello and welcome to my buddy read for #marchmysterymadness 5.0.
I’m starting today but you have the whole month to read. Each time you get to the certain page just go ahead and comment in the thread. If you read fast that’s great just leave your comments in the correct section. And when others get there they can comment too.
I’ve been in a reading slump so I’m hoping this book will get me out of that. Heard it’s very good so I hope it lives up to the hype!
Be sure to tell us you are reading along here.
Happy reading I’ll be back after I read this portion.

Wow what a beginning! I think that journal in the beginning will be found and hopefully shed some light on what happened to Alicia.
Theo is a strange character with a messed up childhood. I’m surprised he became a psychotherapist and never got help for his dad. Glad he finally found happiness with his wife.
I still haven’t finished the American dirt book so going to read that now. If I happen to come back to the silent patient I’ll see you in part 2.

Anyways, The Silent Patient...
Very interesting beginning. It's crazy that Theo was "drawn" to Alicia and quit his job for the opportunity to treat her. Theo is strange, I agree. I also wonder what Alicia's journal and her final painting will reveal about her. It's interesting that her aunt and former lawyer don't seem to want to have anything to do with her. His wife is probably the only "normal" character so far.
I look forward to continuing the book. I just started it yesterday (3/11) so I hope I'm not too far behind with the discussion.
