So, character creation template.
So, what all do we want to include in the template for character creation, and how do we want to format it?
Okay. Could we perhaps add fears and remove the parents so we don't have to figure out what the parents of elements are and remove the affiliation part? And perhaps we should have a part on which element they are?
That looks good! Should we add a "Year" thread as well, or a thing for magical powers, or both? Do you think we should wait for Nova's opinion? Also, I know for sure I want a character workshop thread, but what threads should we have for character creation?
Under Age I'll add a Grade thing, and under element I'll add powers?Male and female, I'd say.
Okay. Perhaps have it say magical powers and say periodic table element? Could we add non-binary to that?

Okay, so, how closely do we want the characters to resemble the elements?
Well it really depends like I had ideas for my characters, if they're toxic elements perhaps they would be able to perhaps emit this toxic gas, or if it's irritatingly to the skin if they so desire their skin can be coated in this element without harming themselves but it would harm others?
If that's the kind of idea you're going for?

Okay. But do we want them to be more their own people or what? Also, how do we want them to have been selected for the school. A letter. They all applied and got in or what? Are they all going to have like normal families or what?
They're part of a science experiment gone wrong? Vitamins were distributed and by the ages of say twelve when puberty truly starts to hit their powers are awakening and after an investigation by the government they found out the cause and a school was built in order for them to learn - attendance isn't an option, you HAVE to?
I think characters should be their own, just because someone's element is arsenic doesn't mean they're naturally going to be a mind fuck murderer - although that's a fun idea. Personalities vary and their elements are simply a coincidence, some may have some traits of the element though if they want? I dunno

Resemblance, Physical or mental? Like, Arsenic as example. It's a metallic grey. So, maybe she should have silvery hair? Or do you mean mental, as in she should be a bit homicidal?
I'm a little busy at the moment with unpacking and working from a mobile so the formatting will be difficult for me, and yeah I suppose like perhaps there's a little resemblance but I don't think they should base their characters ENTIRELY on the element

Should we change the ages for the students then if we're going to have it be the vitamins as a cause? Like make the ages closer together, like all between 14 and 17 or something?

I guess whichever you want. I think as long as there is some resemblance between character and element it's fine.

How should we do the RP locations? Also, do you like the idea of having the dorms organized by family for the alkalines, alkaline earth metals, family 13, family 14, family 15, family 16, halogens, and noble gases? Then we could do a dorm for the Lanthanides and Actinides. And then something for the rest of the transition metals. What do you think of the idea?
I like the idea of like the periodic table eg. Noble Gases ECT but that's just me
Okay. So what should we do about the Transition Metals? Just do it be energy level? Like 3d, 4d, 5d, 6d, etc. or do we want to do like two or three families per dorm or what?
I am not great when it comes to chemistry, so I shall leave that decision up to you! Simply because I'm not qualified enough to answer..

Have people choose, or whichever category it falls into better. Like, the more exact category not broad. (Eg if you were categorizing Pink, it would fall under 'Reds' not 'Colors'. Make sense?
Okay. So, would I put Astatine under Metalloids or Halogens then, since both are fairly specific.
Could you all help me create the dorms? Also, we need to start figuring out roleplay locations and folders.
