Victoria Scott So any ideas for where you want to find stuff, Hannah? Do you have any plans for what you want to read, so we don't double up? :)

message 2: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Yeah, sounds like a good plan :) I'll definitely be reading the Maze Runner series, and Dangerous Creatures. I'll have a look for books with Patrick's in them... Some of these are going to be really difficult!

message 3: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott I didn't know that, that'll make it more interesting :)

message 4: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Item: dog.
Book: Need by Carrie Jones.
Page 18. "...even with the stupid dogs howling around midnight or so"

message 5: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Haha :P Im ready!! It's the 16th here already, so I've started, but I'm still excited!!!! :D

message 6: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Yay, good job! :)

message 7: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott I've got ice cream, page 56 of Need. "Devyn sticks the spoon into the ice cream carton"

message 8: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Mm, it's good. Not great, it's kind of reminding me of Twilight, but written better... I think it's going to get better soon :)

message 9: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott That is weird! And there was me thinking that'd be hard :P I need to focus more when I'm reading, I'm too busy paying attention to the plot to focus on little words

message 10: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott See, like I completely missed that we were looking for death! The whole book is about her dad's death!!
"

message 11: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Page 8, "a season of death"

message 12: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Yep, I've seen the post :) Are you taking them off the original list too? That might make it easier to see what we don't need to get :)

message 13: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Okay, thanks :)

message 14: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Page 171 of Need. "I swing the flashlight around the kitchen"

message 15: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Page 165. "Then you cut away any fur that's near the wound..."

message 16: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Can I use woods instead of forest? Since they are the same thing :) If so, page 158. "I'm not sure how long I run through the woods"

message 17: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Page 193. "Anyway, I made pancakes."

message 18: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott And, same page "His fork pauses in midair"

message 19: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Yeah, I figured it wouldn't count, but there was no harm in trying :P

message 20: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Page 225 of Need. "Instead of being nice and asking, or bringing me flowers..."

message 21: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Page 222. "He's an eagle"

message 22: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Page 226. "I stir my eggs around my plate".
And that's my 10 for Need :) Im starting a new book soon, maybe tomorrow morning

message 23: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Good job! :) I'm currently reading Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse

Page 115. "I was wishing I'd brought some of that Camp Half-Blood orange thermal underwear"

message 24: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Hayride could be hard... And I think ones like clover we'll miss, even if they are there! Can't wait for the update tomorrow to see how the others are going :)

message 25: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Oh, and here's my 10th word for that book. "Maybe the military will shoot it down"

message 26: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Oops sorry, page 140 :) I know we should be looking for the harder words more, but it's still good to have the easy ones out of the way I think

message 27: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Do we have to finish the books for them to count? Because we could always just read bits of ones if other people find the word somewhere, and not finish them :P I would think soup would be a pretty easy one to find! That's odd that you haven't found it yet!

message 28: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Oh wow, good luck with those other two... You could read a dance book about ballet? Aw, that's annoying! We'll have to find them ourselves then :P

message 29: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Good luck :) Im going to be starting the Maze Runner soon

message 30: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Yeah, I'm the same. I read it ages ago and didn't finish it, but I adored the movie. And I've had a friend with good judgement confirm that it's good :)

message 31: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Oh yay, we can catch up pretty easily!! :)

message 32: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott I'm reading the Maze Runner now :)
3% "Another corner of the compound held gardens"

message 33: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Would muddy count for mud? If it does, at 10%, "It was like looking at an image through half a metre of muddy water"

message 34: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Cool :)

message 35: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott 18%, "We can feed her soupy stuff"

message 36: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott 19%. "...scurrying past him and towards the small forest"

message 37: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott 3% "...filled with long grasses and weeds"
13% "He still hadn't stopped the sun"
53% "Lets just say Gally's ill"

message 38: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott 54% "A note announced there were cookies in the cupboard"

message 39: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott 56% "A distant, faded memory of sucking on pennies as a kid popped into his head"
70% "...whirring and clicking as if celebrating their victory"
I'm pretty sure team 1are about to win, but that's my 10 for this book anyway :)

message 40: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Okay, so I think team 1 has 2 words to go, but I still want to come second! And other teams are still going... So here's my 10 words from the Arrival by Dakota Kemp

message 41: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott And at the moment I'm reading Dangerous Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Page 43 - "...even the fake acceptance letter from the fake church college"

message 42: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Scott Could you please update the progress post? I keep forgetting what we've found :)
