A very timely suggestion, but we already read this book, in September 2013.

Oops, apologies, it didn't show up when I searched the bookshelf in the group page. But I do see it now when I manually browse through it.

Yes. I had the same problem. Fortunately I remembered when we read it. I don't know why it doesn't show up. Goodreads search generally is a little squirrelly.

Do you mean The Botany of Desire: A Plant's-Eye View of the World? We already read that, in April 2009.

I'll nominate Plight of the Living Dead: What Real-Life Zombies Reveal about Our World--And Ourselves by Matt Simon. It's a really interesting look into things like the Jewel wasp, Toxoplasmosis, & other organisms that must take control of one or more species to procreate. It's fun & really interesting.

This is a *wonderful* book. Charming illustrations, too.

Please use the "add book/author" link just above the comment box to insert a link to the Goodreads book page for the book you are nominating, so other members can more easily assess it. Apparently this only works on the desktop version of the site; if you use the app, the link is not available yet.
You may nominate a book which has been suggested previously and did not win. You may nominate more than one book, but we might not include all of your nominations in the voting.
Please do not nominate a book which is unlikely to be available to all members, such as one which was just published within the last three months or which is only available on Kindle in the U.S.
Nominations will close on February 19 or when we have about 10 good nominations, whichever occurs first.
